Mary and Pat Reynolds have poured money, love and history back into this restored library. It is simply exquisite and worthy of your visit even if you have to travel out of your way. Every room has been delicately decorated with professionalism and charm. the collection of bookd is impressive. Marty provides a wonderful breakfast. We enjoyed fluffy pancakes, sausage,...

This was a dream come true for anyone who has loved his or her library. Staying at a renovated Carnegie library was a treat. I've never stayed in as clean a place as this was. The hosts were wonderful, the breakfasts were terrific. I can think of nothing I would want changed. We ate a delicious breakfast at a library...

Truly THE place to stay in Ladysmith. Right there with the bigger chain hotels in town on price, but way ahead in charm, class, and cleanliness. The owners are very friendly and REALLY know the town. Rooms are wonderfully decorated and breakfast was superb. This B&B is not a place to pass by.

We often stay at Bed and Breakfasts as we travel and I can say without reservation that this was the best of the best. This old library, built with Carnegie funding years ago is completed remodeled. Stayed in the secret room behind the bookcase with views of the lake. Unbelievable breakfast put a grand ending to this stay over. Shoes...

I grew up in this little town and the Carnegie Library was central to my childhood. This B&B is excellently run, great atmosphere, comfortable rooms and bathrooms. The sitting area upstairs is a good gathering spot for a late drink and visit. My Mom and I had a chance to catch up and enjoyed the first snow last Nov. Mr...

For under $100 you can stay on the river in your choice of rooms (Jane Austin, Roosevelt,..) have snacks, beverages and have a picnic overlooking the river. There is an entire library to choose from along with magazines and newspapers. To top it off, the...

What a luxurious and historic place to stay. A public library donated to the folks of Ladysmith in 1907 by Andrew Carnegie has been converted to a bed and breakfast by a charming couple. There are six themed rooms decorated with period collectibles, retaining the ambience of this turn of the century library. Complete with a central sitting room with...

I have never stayed at a Bed &Breakfast before so I was leery about my accommodations, however this is a great place to stay. This is a library which was converted to a Bed &Breakfast. There are five rooms, each with a theme with related books and articles placed around the rooms. The rooms are spacious, with nicely done private...
