The room was in decent shape. No problems with any smells. Comfortable beds. Flat screen TV. Microwave and mini-fridge in room. Room was a little small so I couldn't roll in my loaded bicycle. I had to store my bicycle in the laundry room in the basement. Very strong wifi signal. Adequate breakfast. There is a guest laundry downstairs. No...

Booked 5 rooms for a business trip. Rooms stunk like perfume upon check-in like they were trying to cover something up.. opened windows to air out the room out then went out for dinner. Upon returning to the room I found the room had been entered and windows had been shut. Mgmt/owner said room had not been entered but I...

I went to Lancaster on a business trip and this was the hotel selected by the company. I'm always wary of low rates because I'm never sure what I'm going to get, but this place was just great. It was as well-cared for as five-star hotels I've stayed in, perfectly clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful. It's walking...

My wife and I needed to get away for a weekend so we decided to explore the "driftless" (un glaciated) area of Wisconsin and the Mississippi River. All the rooms closer to the Mississippi were booked due to a blues festival, so we decided to spend the night in Lancaster, which was about 30 +/-miles from the river. This hotel...

We have stayed here off and on over the years when we go back for family events. They are a very clean place, has very comfortable beds and chairs in the room, and it comes with coffee pot, refrigerator, and microwave. It has changed it sponsorship lately but that has not affected how it is run or the quality of...

Stopped at this hotel on a trip from Ohio to South Dakota. Overall experience was okay. The gentleman that checked me in was nice and the room was clean and the price was decent for a town without many choices. You have to park on the street but that wasn't a problem. If I was going through again I wouldn't...

I have stayed here many times over the past 20+ years. In Grant county, this is about the best place to stay. It is clean and the people are friendly. Dad and I stay here every year when we come for our family reunion. Church and eating places are wtihin walking distance, even for a senior citizen.

This is a simple little hotel. Old, Ma and Pa owned but well kept. It was clean and comfortable and very friendly staff. Places to stay in Lancaster are scarce and this is the best one. Rite around the corner from a great little pub and grill called Doolittles. If you have time to travel a little Dubuque and two...

Of course everyone will say it's average. It's a Best Western Motel in a small town. For 65 bucks a night you're not talking Ritz Carlton. The room was spotless, the Manager was cool, and continental breakfeast was thrown in. This is what I expect in a Motel. This was a good economical choice to sleep for a night and...

I must admit, I was a little afraid to stay in a 22 room hotel in a small town. I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel is on a side street and doesn't have much parking. The front desk clerk, which I think was also the owner, was very pleasant and helpful. The furnishings, bedding, and carpet in our room looked...

“I find the bathroom a little difficult to shower in, there are no bars to help getting in and out, and you must watch the towel rug, because the floor is slippery to begin with, so it can still slip out from under you when getting in and out.”
