Not a nice expirience. There was a strange smell in the room and the light was very dark. Definitely the room was not worth the money I paid for it. I guess the good ratings are for the amnassador hotel on the other side of the street and not for the inn.

I needed a room for a friend & I who were attending a concert at the nearby casino. Now, instead of using a service like Trip Advisor or Orbitz, I simply pulled up Google Maps from my phone, punched in the address of the casino, and looked on the map for hotels within a few miles of the concert venue, somewhere that would be a short cab ride (or even walk) from the casino. We considered staying right at the casino, but after seeing the price they wanted for a room, we decided to look elsewhere. One of the hotels I found nearby, the Ambassador Hotel, looked like a decent, old-school hotel, the Art Deco flourishes restored and maintained, and I've had wonderful experiences staying at another old, refurbished place in downtown Milwaukee (Hotel Metro) that was also done in the

We stayed here for a concert at the milwaukee rave. The room was very spacious and spotless. They had breakfast in the morning which was a good refresher. The gentlemen that checked us in I think his name was rico was great. He seemed to enjoy his job a lot and was very informative. When we come to milwaukee again this will be one of our top choices.

I've stayed at this hotel multiple times, however it has been a few years since the most current stay. I realize this is a mediocre hotel to begin with. The location is fine, if you are going to a concert at the Rave, which is why I’ve stayed at the location. They charge $10 for parking if you want to use their lot, this fee is not included in the initial reservation. Also the lot was full, and it was recommended I pay the fee, park in the neighboring hotel lot and move my vehicle later in the day when more spaces are available. The room itself was very unclean, there was glitter all over the room; floors, bed, nightstands, & bathroom. I can’t imagine the bed sheets were changed prior to our arrival. Also there was lots of stains on the furniture, carpet, and mattress. I

I booked my original reservation in October, 2016 for a double double room with pull out bed for four adults on December 31st, 2016 to January 1st, 2017. I then called on the date listed above to CHANGE my reservation to down size the booking to a double double room WITHOUT the pull out bed, for the agreed price below, of 183.01 plus 10 for parking. This email originated from your staff confirming the change. When we arrived yesterday, we checked in as normal, walked into room 1313 on the third flood, noticed that it was an upgraded room with the couch, and immediately went back to the front desk to verify that I was not being charged for the extra amenities. Your front desk personnel said that I would be charged for the upgraded room because that's what we were staying in. I

I decided to surprise my mom with tickets to her favorite concert with took place at The Rave in Milwaukee. So i decided to book a room here considering it's extremely close, maybe one block away, and the room cost was only $89. Upon arrival, the person who checked us in was fantastic. Very professional, and very nice. But once we got to our room, it wasn't as nice as we wished.. the mini fridge was WARM. Plugged in, turned on, but extremely warm. Okay.. no big deal, i can drink warm soda. My mom decided to shower, but to find that she couldn't use the bath mat. It was folded in half, and when she tried to unfold it, it was SO sticky, we couldn't get it apart..and whatever it was, it was green. Gross. The icing on this already awful cake, was when we were in the middle of our

Very average stay at the Inn. The inside is much more run down than the outside, with old carpet, old bedspreads (don't believe their pictures with the nice-looking down comforters), and poor lighting. Nice tv in our room and good place to charge devices on the nightstand. Decent shower. My sister's box spring cover was visibly dirty on the side nearest the door. Curtains adequately blocked out morning sun. Friendly people at check-in and check-out. Continental breakfast completely worthless; included cereal, muffins, and toast - no fruit, no yogurt. We opted for Miss Katie's Diner on the advice of the front desk staff instead, which was great.

Checked into our room and saw a bunch of popcorn on the floor and next to the bed was a used condom........so gross. Shuttle driver was very nice but the poorly marked Shuttles that pick up at midnight are very hard to identify.

I was meeting college friends for a Fraternity reunion and the Ambassador Hotel was recommended. I booked on line with Kayak and assumed the Inn was the same as the Hotel, they share many of the same services and dining options. They are across from the street each other. The Inn more like a motel, dirty carpets, outdated furnishings and bad odors. Make sure your reservation is for the Hotel.
