Our family of 4 just stayed at this charming boutique hotel in the center of Mineral Point and it far succeeded our expectaions and the photos online. The new owners have great design taste and added many touches and amenities to the lobby and rooms: cute coffee bar, free fruit, snacks and candy, cold drinks, books and comfy furniture. Also...

Perfectly appointed, updated and comfortable, this delightful discovery adds to the charm of this historic community. The new owners have made this a true gem in Mineral Point! Our room was spacious and bright. Loved the claw-footed tub!

The Mineral Point Hotel exceeded my expectations. Well located in the heart of Mineral Point it's within walking distance of great shops and restaurants. If you like outdoor recreation, the hotel is conveniently located near the Military Ridge and Cheese Country Trails. Our room was clean and very comfortable. The property includes a lovely outdoor terrace, great place to relax...

Old, but extremely well renovated. Clean room and bath. Comfortable bed with good bedding although the pillows were a bit too fluffy for us. Fire in the lobby stove at night and in the morning, hot coffee, biscotti in the lobby as well as a bowl of fresh fruit. There was no staff in the hotel if you need something...

We stayed there before my sister's wedding in Mineral Point and it was WONDERFUL! So cozy and gorgeous! I only wish we had more time to spend there! It's very close to great restaurants - and fun artsy stuff at Shake Rag! The beds were suuuuuuuper comfy!! (even with a snoring bride) Can't wait to stay again!!!

This hotel is LOVELY! It is very quaint; I would even call it romantic. Disregard the previous few comments about the lack of staff and service. The day I stayed (December 31, 2014) was the day the hotel was sold to new owners. I met the owners and they are extremely hospitable and very pleasant. They said they had lots...

I really wanted to like this hotel, have walked by it for some years and always thought I would like to stay here. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable for a historic Inn. I knew we would probably have to check ourselves in and that went fine, but I confess I missed seeing a human being. I think there was...

Thank you for your recent review of the Mineral Point Hotel. I am happy to report that the Mineral Point Hotel is now under new ownership as of January 1st, 2015. Local residents Mike and Lisa Wagner have purchased the hotel and are currently executing their vision to greatly improve the entire "guest experience" at the Hotel. We have hired...

We stayed here for three nights. Two of those nights had no air conditioning (80+ degrees). They gave us a fan but for the price I would have expected more. This is a beautiful place but it could use some management. I hope someone buys it and give its the attention it deserves. Location is great and rooms were beautiful...

Very nice historic place in a historic town. Don't expect too much in the way of service or hosting. The owners are gone and trying to sell the place, and the MP chamber of commerce is actually running the place! It's a good idea, I understand why they would like to keep a hotel going in the center of town....

This place was quiet and was a perfect location for our trip to the American Playhouse Theatre. We love Mineral Point, so we wanted to stay in this small historic quiet town. We had no trouble, as I know this place is up for sale and didn't get good reviews before. I would stay here again!
