Tuckpoint is a fascinating guest apartment in a beautiful historic building, refurbished and decorated with beautiful reclaimed materials and artistic treasures from the Mineral Point area. The loft bedroom has a striking stained glass window separating it from the large and comfortable living area below. Quirky and fun items are embedded in the bathroom walls. Nearby Shake Rag Alley is...

History, quirky and very comfortable suite with loads of documented history to read while you're relaxing. It was quiet, but close to restaurants and shops. A challenge to find the suite, but well worth it.

We stayed in the Shake Rag Tuckpoint Garden Suite over the Fall Art Tour weekend. We hoped it would live up to the pictures we saw. Staying in this suite was more than what we had imagined. The Tuckpoint was delightful and full of character. When I first walked in, I thought, ”I could live here”. The suite’s living/dining room...

I arrived at the Tuckpoint after multiple phone and email contacts to arrange lodging for a class at Shake Rag Alley. The Tuckpoint apartment was NOT locked (and is not attended) upon arrival. I walked in, as could anyone else. The smell of mold was strong and pervasive. A loud portable dehumidifier was running. I emptied the full humidifier bucket...

I stayed at the Coach House, Room 1 at the end of the season. I was the only person at the Inn that night and had a wonderful experience. Thinking back to all the people who may have stayed in this historic building throughout the pas 150 years! I hope to repeat my visit soon.

We enjoyed our stay at coach house. We stayed in room 2, which was supposed to have a private deck, but were dissappointed to find out that it was "being repaired" and was not usable. Other than that, we were very satisfied. The room was nicely decorated and bathroom was small but nice. We were the only guests that day,...

What a great b & b - such a wonderful and historic location. The buildings and grounds were so interesting - wish we had more time in mineral point. We stayed in room 1 at the Coach House. Lots of great history -art colony on grounds, common area fireplace, creaky staircase and general atmosphere were very authentic. So interesting. Kendall...

I agree with most of the other reviewers: historic, quaint, and very artsy lodging. There is a main area or common room, but we didn't use it as we were just there for one night. The Shake Rag Alley is a 2-3 block walk to the main part of town, which is quaint although not very lively the Sunday before...

If you want to experience an historic lodging, this place it the place to stay. An easy walk to the shopping district, Pendarvis, and Shake Rag Alley artisans, this intimate lodging will invigorate you with a wonderful night's sleep. We stayed in room 2 which has a tiny porch area with table and chairs so you have an ideal place...

We arrived in town without a reservation but they had space and were very accommodating. Room #2 was charming and clean. Best of all they told us about an Irish concert that night right on Shake Rag Alley. It was so much fun! Very hospitable place with old world charm.
