At the end of the day hotels are just buildings some, are smarter than others some or cleaner.
There are those who have better facilities and locations but there is one thing that can set a hotel above others and that is the team the run it.
We spent just one night in the Premier Inn Cribbs Causeway having travelled to a family funeral.
Over the years we have stayed in many, Bristol Hotels, but never has our stay been so welcoming. During this short stay we spoke with restaurant staff, the reception team, one of the Managers and even one of the kitchen staff as we passed her in the upper corridors. They were all professional, helpful, friendly and interested in their customers.
Thank you all for making this Hotel stay a little brighter and sunnier (despite the Snow) than many we have experienced.
The food was OK as well.

The location of this Premier Inn is ideal for indulging in some retail therapy at Cribbs Causeway, but the hotel itself is in a quiet area and tucked away from the road noise and bustle of The Mall and retail parks. There is a very spacious, free car park. Check-in was easy and the manger from Gloucester gave us a friendly welcome on arrival. There was hand sanitiser on every table in the public areas and staff and gusts wore face coverings. Top marks for hygiene!
Our Premier Plus room was really lovely and spotlessly clean. The bathroom had a good shower and hot water was plentiful. The mini fridge and coffee machine in the room was a nice touch. Wi-fi was free and with good reception.. The restaurant was really nice and we had a relaxing meal in the evening (a big contrast to the rough and tumble of the Redwood next door). The bed was comfortable and we had a good night's sleep. We did have a problem in getting the air con to the correct temperature but this was quickly rectified by a friendly member of staff.
We would stay here again and would recommend to others!

Lovely hotel! Modern, bright, clean and tidy! Loads of parking and a 15 minute walk to shops, restaurants and cinema/ bowling alley.
We booked a Premier plus room to see how much different it was to a regular room. Was about £45 more for us. We were not blown away, thought it would be bigger with the way it was described when booking. Decorated slightly differently with some added touches, but an improvement nevertheless. It was great having a mini fridge and coffee machine in the room which we made use of. The rainfall shower and bath room was lovely, super clean and have no complaints. The only downside... as advertised the free ultimate WiFi you get with premier plus, supposedly 8x time faster was awful. I feel sorry for the people who pay extra for this service. Wanted to watch the football highlights on my phone using the WiFi but when it did load, I could only watch on 480p at best video quality for it to work.
The extra you pay is for the fridge, coffee machine and walk-in shower mainly so if you are not bothered by these, book a standard room. But it was definitely handy having a fridge to keep bottles of water cold ready for bed (with 2 complimentary bottles) and the shower was great! As long as it's not massively more money we would book a plus room again.
The staff we delt with were all lovely. Asked for some new towels and they were delivered to our door within a few minutes.
Didn't use the restaurant or bar area as you had so much choice locally. Parking was free for our visit which was a nice bonus!
Overall do not hesitate to book this hotel! Probably the best we've stayed in for cleanliness and comfort.

The room was spotless and everything worked. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending it.
You need to know that they will not enter your room from when you arrive to half an hour after you check out. So if you are staying for 2 nights your bed will not be made up, your coffee mug will not be washed, you coffee sachets will not be replaced and your towels will not be changed.
Reception will change things for you if you take then down, so my advice is at least to take tea towel.
They are not serving food at present, will make up a breakfast bag.

Excellent clean value hotel with comfortable beds and spotless rooms . I booked a disabled access room with walk in shower . The bathroom was spacious with everthing well laid out . The walk in shower was easy to use without any problems . There was a emergency cord to pull if you needed . The water was contained in the shower area without spilling over into the rest of the room . The room provided a hair dryer , as much tea/ coffee as you wanted. Bed was comfortable with an area where you could put a drink etc next to the bed . Again there was a emergency cord . Tv worked OK . The heating was blown through vents but was controlled by yourself via a touch screen . Only cost £47 for a Sunday night stay . Only slight problem was that the doors in the public access areas were not very wide and I did struggle to get my mobility scooter through and the room was on the first floor meaning I needed to use a lift which again was tight for a scooter . A ground floor room would make more sense .

We stayed for 3 nights at this Premier Inn and we had stayed there on previous occasion. This time round, it was quite a let down. The room booked was for two adults but in the allocated room, only one set of towel for one adult was provided. We had to go to reception to ask for a second one. There was nowhere proper to hang the towels to dry in the bathroom, so they were still wet when next used. The toilet cover seat was loose. Supply of tea and coffee was not topped up as Premier Inn no longer provide room services. Customers had to help themselves from reception. Only one pillow was provided per adult.. Table lamp had no bulb but one was fitted after report. Worse problem was lack of Wifi to use laptop although some signals available to use mobile phone. All in all, a real let down!!

The hotel was lovely, clean and staff friendly. The reason for writing this review is to advise anyone staying in a Premier plus room on the fourth floor to take some ear plugs as the fans from the kitchen are above you and were on all night! I was told when I spoke to reception that they should have gone off automatically and they would turn them off manually if it persisted the next evening unfortunately the noise was there for the whole of my stay. Having said that the room itself was superb Premier Inn have really pulled the boat out and I would definitely stay there again.

This is a nice hotel, literally minutes away from The Bristol Zoo Project, which was our reason for visiting. The rooms are quiet, comfortable and the blackout curtains work well, meaning you get a lay in. The liquid soaps provided were a bit watered down but at least they provided some. The cooked breakfast was absolutely yummy and I love having the buffer, help yourself option. We didnt eat at the hotel during the evening as it’s so close to Cribbs Causeway that we ate out. Checkin was via a terminal, it was easy to use but there were people at the desk if you needed help. The car park was free for the nights you stayed there. We only had 1 set of towels in our room when we got there, so I had to come back down to reception to sort that. The lady was very friendly and apologetic and gave me another set straight away. This wasn’t the cheapest Premier Inn we’ve stayed in but it is a fairly central location and the middle of the summer holidays, so it was never going to be cheap. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again, especially for the cooked breakfast!!

Staying at the hotel from 16/05 till 20/05 positive feed room was great as always very help full on reception area.
The restaurant that's a different story throughout the whole week, I've had to book a table that's fine due to the full hotel. I've sat waited for ages for my food people that have come in after me booking got their food before me, the staff walk around confused as know one is taking control of the situation. They clearly need to resolve this as I wasn't the only one.
They clearly need to get a table service set up with numbers on each to make this operation run smoothly, as well some taking control of the situation as well. With that as well all week I've heard we haven't got this or we haven't got that most of the food taste very bland

Hi, Thank you for your review. It's great to hear that you found your room to a good standard and the team helpful at reception. However, we're sorry to hear that you had a disappointing stay with us recently due to the slow service you received within the restaurant. This certainly isn't the experience we would expect for you. We’ve ensured this feedback has been logged to the Hotel Management team so that they can look into these issues with the team to prevent this experience from being repeated again in the future. Thank you for taking the time to contact us and we hope we can welcome you for a more enjoyable stay in the future. Kind regards, Emma

We have stayed here before, but not since it’s been refreshed. Although it is still very much a Premier Inn, it had a better shower, USB sockets and a slightly more modern feel in the rooms. It was a busy hotel but still very quiet. The car park was good, and no additional cost, which I really appreciate. The restaurant was very busy at breakfast so we had to wait a while for hot food, but there was a good choice and tasted good. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.
