This hotel costs a bit more than the place down the way but it is worth it in my opinion. Has a great onsite breakfast, the rooms were awesome and the atmosphere of the whole place is warm and authentic. Awesome front desk service too.

We decided to travel to New Glarus because we've never been there and we decided to stay at this hotel because of the many positive reviews. I'm only giving it an average rating because it was just that. Nothing spectacular, room was ok, our room was above the laundry room and we heard the washer/dryer running and we were close...

We enjoyed a wonderful brunch at the Chalet Landhaus on Sunday. There was a great variety of choices of food ranging from your typical scrambled eggs with pork links or Canadian bacon to a scrumptious omelet made to you order. Along with that are many choices of pastries, cheeses, pancakes, and fruit juices. You are always furnished with a full cup...

My husband and I stayed in one of the double whirlpool rooms for 1 night. The hotel's Swiss chalet exterior is delightful. The interior public spaces (lobby, restaurant, etc.) are cozy and inviting. Our room itself was plain, but the wood ceiling beams and the stenciling above the doorway to the sitting are gave it a vaguely Swiss feel. The...

We stayed here after getting stranded in a winter storm. Staff was more than accommodating despite our late arrival time. Wonderful ambience, clean, and charming. Bring your bathing suit. The pool area is beautiful. Their breakfast has a huge selection with made to order food. Will definitely be back!

My husband and I wanted a quick getaway from Chicago and loved New Glarus beer. We were very pleased to find this quaint hotel walking distance to the town. Our room was reasonablly priced, with a free breakfast. The room itself was a bit dated, but very clean and the charm of the hotel just made you overlook the blue...

We stayed at Chalet Landhaus for 2 nights in New Glarus. The hotel is a little older and had a few minor maintenance items but was very cozy. Knotty pine ceilings in the room. Breakfast was included. Full buffet with omelette son Sunday, European continental breakfast other mornings.

Amazing, from the time we booked 3 rooms 2 months ago to departing this morning the staff has been outstanding. The rooms were cleaned, the lobby was charming, the complimentary breakfast on Sunday morning has a chef making omelets. Not sure what days they serve breakgast, besides Sunday. We'll be back!

rooms are clean and food is great. The people are very friendly, It is within walking distance to the downtown area. The hotel also has an out door eating area if so desired if weather permitting. Also in summer they have live accordion music on Thursday evening

We stayed with a group of friends ranging from late 20's to late 30's. Everyone enjoyed this hotel. It is within walking distance to the down town area and only a short drive away from the New Glarus brewery. The hotel it's self was clean and comfortable. We stayed in a large room with 4 beds, it was pleasant and...
