My wife and I stayed at the Port Washington Inn for a getaway weekend, and everything about the experience was excellent. The breakfast is truly exceptional, the amenities are great, and the location is an easy walk to downtown Port Washington. We stayed in Dorothy's Room. We strongly recommend this B&B to everyone!

The Port Washington Inn is one of the very nicest B&Bs we've ever stayed in. Everything, from the curb appeal of the building and setting to the smallest detail, has been carefully thought of and attended to. Rita and Dave Nelson, the innkeepers, are a gracious and delightful couple. The rooms and public spaces are immaculate and filled with aesthetically...

We really enjoyed our stay. The location is ideal and you can walk into town. We stayed in Grace's Suite and loved the balcony with the view of the lighthouse. Dave and Rita were very accommodating. The breakfast was delicious and the coffee was great!

We stayed at this beautiful and spotless B&B while in Wisconsin for a family reunion. It was our second visit. The hosts are extremely kind, helpful for whatever you need but not in your way if you just want a quiet visit. I was on a highly restrictive diet and they were very gracious in doing everything they could to...

From the moment we arrived, we felt the warmth and friendliness of the innkeepers, Rita and Dave. Their welcoming made you feel at home. The Inn is beautiful and charming. We stayed in The Top of the World Suite. The room was very comfortable and private. As for the breakfast, it was outstanding.

We are forever grateful for our guests who take the time to post a review of their stay at Port Washington Inn. We are beginning our 20th season as owners/innkeepers here; the return of guests from pre-renovation times reminds us that a memorable stay often has more to do with welcoming hospitality than with a wealth of amenities. Renovations accomplished...

We really relaxed here. Location is perfect to go any where in town without moving the car. Wonderful service in a quiet atmosphere. Our room was co comfortable I even spent more time than I normally do. Planning to go back next year.

On our vacation to Wisconsin we made our stop for the last two nights of our trip at the Port Washington Inn. We had Dorothy's room. Good comfortable room with a view of Lake Michigan. There was a yummy baked treat waiting for us in our room. Breakfast was good too and great friendly hosts.

I never write reviews. The fact that I'm writing one now is evidence that I feel owe it to Rita and Dave to share their lovely B&B with all travelers to Wisconsin. The Port Washington Inn surpassed all my expectations in accommodations, food, atmosphere and location. My husband stayed there for 3 nights at the beginning of August after visiting...

My wife and I went to Port Washington to ride the bike trails. We picked the Port Washington Inn based on the reviews and a promise to take care of our bikes while we were there. We stayed for two nights in the week after Labor Day. We could not have been happier. We had Grace's Suite. What a lovely...

We spent a total of six nights at the Port Washington Inn on two separate trips in May and June while dealing with a family illness. This was a stressful time for us, and Rita and Dave could not have been nicer or more accommodating in every way possible. They made a difficult situation much easier. The inn is situated...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Port Washington Inn is a five room bed and breakfast in the truest sense of the term. The inn was built in 1903 as the private home of George and Eva Blessing. The original character of the home has been preserved during the extensive restoration it has undergone during our time here (our 21st season begins in 2016)! A stay at Port Washington Inn will provide peaceful privacy and generous hospitality. Dave's excellent early morning coffee and a full breakfast prepared from scratch and served buffet style in our formal dining room get our guests' day off to a great start. The complimentary beverage centers, homemade treats, and generous common areas inside and outside the inn receive high marks with our guests. All guestrooms have queen beds, attached private baths, comfortable seating and good reading lights. We invite you to experience the peaceful privacy and generous hospitality which bring guests back again and again. Secure WIFI access and good mobile phone reception will keep you connected during your time away. Take advantage of our multiple night discounts! ... more   less
