We were seasonal for two summers out of necessity. If you are a family looking for fun choose another place. The manager, nort owner they are hands off, does not like children and will put a damper on your fun. Poor facilities with no improvements. Diamond in the rough but the manager makes it very rough.

This is one of our favorite campgrounds in Northern Wisconsin, and we stay here several times per summer. Overall, it is a GREAT place to camp with room enough for our 26 ft camper, Lake Thompson is BEAUTIFUL and great for fishing. Bathrooms are older, but always clean and well stocked. There are a few things that are not as...

We picked this site due to it being close to where our friends lived. We reserved ahead of time for 2 spots next to each other. We got there around 5pm and the office was closed. There was a note with map as to where our sites were. Office hours 10-3....very odd.... It is a very rustic campground where we...

Had booked a site for this year based on the stay last year. Thought we would give another try - host tends to be harsh with customer service but the site adequate & close to the event were attending. Upon making the reservation this year, requesting the same site as last year and sending my deposit only to get a...

I have a large family that gets together camping 2 to 3 times a year. We like to try different campgrounds throughout northern Wisconsin- and since we are such a large group (usually require 5-6 sites) we need to stay at a campground that has reservable sites. Well, my brother was in charge of our reservations for Memorial weekend. We...

We left with great memories and met lots of very nice people. The mgmt were very nice and accomodating. The campground was kept up, very rustic with trees everywhere and boulders. It...

I have no memory of being in the Northwoods, WI and now I can say "it is a wonderful place". Rhinelander is a small quaint town, but the lakes, campgrounds, and area tourist spots were terrific. My girls 13 & 15 enjoyed the woody campsites, clean pool, sandy beach and clear lake. All in all, West Bay Camping Resort is...
