Alcohol is permitted within the campground. There are also nearby farms that sell approved firewood, and at least one local drives the campground in evening hours with firewood for sale from their pickup. As it is a state park, there is also a Ranger on duty and making regular rounds late into the evening. All vehicles on campground sites must be registered upon arrival, they will be checked to include # of occupants on site.
