We've eaten at the hotel for 50 years every time we get to Trempealeau. The walnut burger is one of my favorites. Great place to eat. The hotel is old and the rooms, although updated, are in need of care and amenities.

Passing through town and happened to notice this quaint bar and restaurant. Ordered a bloody mary. Excellent. Catfish sandwich with potatoe wedges were a great choice. Several of interesting menu items. A must return visit is in order. Don't miss this place as you wander...More
