We did a weekend getaway in Trempealeau and stayed at the Lucas House B&B. Our room was in the old part of the house and overlooks the River. It was a comfortable room. While we did hear the trains, we got used to is quickly and were able to sleep through the night. Judy and Tom are really great hosts....

My best friend, "sister" and I try to make a yearly plan to visit a bed and breakfast and then research that area and get to know what is offered. We never have an itinerary though and just play everything by ear. Our hosts, we're absolutely wonderful. Judy is a sweet soul with wonderful conversation over a varied item breakfast...

Couldn't sleep due to the noise from all the trains. Had to keep the windows open because it was so hot. Found out that there was central air-conditioning that the owners didn't turn on! If you stay here, insist that the a/c is turned on! In cooler weather, I wonder if they serve a hot breakfast? Ours was a cold...

We decided to venture upriver on our pontoon for a weekend, to Trempealeau for the Jambalaya Jamboree. The Trempealeau Hotel suggested the Lucas House B&B for overnight accommodations. Excellent suggestion! Lovely home that overlooks the Mississippi River with beautiful gardens and landscaping. Cozy rooms, hearty breakfast with fresh fruit, oatmeal and fresh cinnamon rolls:). Our hosts, Tom and Judy, were...

After a long drive along the Mississippi River the warm welcome of Tom and Judy was all we needed to relax in there beautiful home. They made a reservation for us in Sullivan's, a restaurant with good food and nice view. To sit on the little balcony watch the trains go by and watch the sunset on the Mississippi, awesome!...

We enjoyed our stay here for a couple nights, though we learned that having the windows closed at night helps you sleep better as the trains go by quite fast and loudly along the river. Our bed was comfortable and we enjoyed the little deck overlooking the Mississippi off the room. There is wifi and we stayed busy biking and...

We booked 5 rooms for 2 nights at the Lucas House for the 2nd time for our wedding anniversary group. Tom and Judy are the nicest hosts we ever have visiting B&B's (our 27th year in a row staying at various B&B's). The 5 rooms are very nice but it's Tom and Judy who make it special. They kept leaving...

The Lucas House in Trempealeau WI is a very warm and welcoming B&B. Tom and his wife are the best when it comes to making your stay comfortable. I would recommend this B&B to anyone.

We went to the area to bicycle and the cycling was great. Judy and Tom were wonderful hosts, chatting with us during breakfast and helping us with the local bicycle routes. The rooms were comfortable and the bathrooms large although they did not adjoin directly to the rooms. The grounds were beautifully landscaped. We were with another couple and our...

Tom and Judy run a very quint and historic inn in Trempealeau WI. Very nice rooms and grounds. I was there with a friend doing a multiple day bike ride and could not find a better place to stay. They treat you like family and make you feel so welcome. I had room with a balcony overlooking the Mississippi, sweet....
