Very relaxing hotel with a nostalgic feel. The restaurant served really good breakfast and prices are very reasonable. The rooms are affordable as well. A lighthouse on Lake Michigan is in walking distance. Beautiful sunsets are sure to be seen.

I agree with the above answers. Not much of a tourist destination.A better choice is Milwaukee. It offers a variety of big city amenities including a walkable downtown riverfront area, lots of restaurants and micro breweries. Other attractions are the art museum on the lakefront, the history museum and the "domes," an inside/outside horticultural park, and a world famous zoo.
