The lodge and cabins are all set back in a valley of sorts between two buttes across the road from a river. The cabins are nice and neat, but the shower in our cabins was TINY. The shower being TINY is m!y only complaint about our whole stay! The staff all seemed to be friendly and the food in the...

Located short distance from East Entrance to Yellowstone Park this lodge is a good spot to set the base while staying in the area. Its hidden from the road in a picturesque canyon and offers true west experience for a reasonable rate. Grounds are clean, have campfire, few activities for the kids, creek flows through the property and has few...

The rustic ranch style cabins have very good beds and bathrooms. We stayed in Gunbarrel(I know they spell it different). It had a nice main room, great king size bed room and plenty of hot water for long showers. The restaurant has good food but only open 7-9am and 5-8pm. The staff pay attention to your every need. They also...

My fiance and I stayed here in a 2 person cabin during the summer of 2014 on our first trip to Yellowstone. The cabin we stayed in was everything we were looking for- quiet, secluded, and relaxing. We enjoyed breakfast and coffee every morning, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu! We typically only ate breakfast at the...

We stayed one night here while vacationing at Yellowstone. The cabin we reserved was not what we expected. It was attached to another cabin. When ended up wanting our own separate cabin and they provided. It turned out to be exactly what we wanted. We are from the city. We like our electronics....Wifi...Internet. Cell signal. TV. You will not have...

We used the Absoroka Mountain lodge as our base for our trip to Yellowstone. It was perfect for our family. Although it was a long drive to get to Yellowstone from there, it was great to be away from the crowds of Yellowstone when we returned to the cabin at the end of the day. If you are someone who...

Words cannot express how much we loved it here. Everything you need is one spot. The cabins were so clean and decorated beautifully. The inside restaurant was amazing. They have horse shoe pits, playground, and a bonfire every night. There was also trail riding on site which we loved. Above all the staff and owners were the sweetest people we've...

Rustic cabin and great people! They put on a marshmallow roast for the guests in the evening. The evening horseback ride was spectacular. Our wrangler was new but still knew quite a bit about the territory. The owner, Kerry, is the chef and the food was delicious! Great find.

If you're looking for something different and don't need the Hilton amenities, we recommend Absaroka. The Otter Cabin had a king sized bed, small couch and desk with just enough room to get from one to the other and a small bathroom. All basic but adequate except there was no hair dryer which my wife sorely missed. They really should...

We stayed at the Absaroka Lodge while visiting Yellowstone. We had an unbelievable great time here. The owners go out of their way to make you feel at home. We went on the breakfast trail ride and was cooked breakfast on the trail, it will be a memory the kids are not soon to forget. The Lodge has a restaurant...
