If you're like me and want to save as much as possible on a night's sleep on a road trip, this is the place for you. Very large room, best rate in town, and very clean. The carpets were in great shape, floors vacuumed, possibly even new carpet. Clean towels, good water pressure, clean tub. Even had a microwave and...

A previous reviewer says you get what you pay for - that about sums it up for this place. The manager was very accommodating, and very friendly although the lobby wreaked of cigarette smoke. I really wanted to give a positive review because the staff here is making great gains and improvements. We found our room to be relatively comfortable,...

After a very long trip from Yellowstone, we were weary and really needing a break from each other. Our group of six got three rooms. My parents' had problems with their tv - staff handled it, moved them to another room. My daughter & husband were ready to crawl into bed, but the sheets were very dirty/stained. Again, staff handled...

Musty odors inside and the carpet felt moist and squishy. It was the kind of place you'd expect to get a disease in. The shower and sink weren't clean and the bed sheets had a hair and did not look like they had been replaced since the Carter administration and smelled of smoke - in a non-smoking room. At night,...

Very nice & comfortable. Its nothing fancy, but very nice. The staff is awesome & very attentive to your needs. If you need anything they are always there to help. Low rates so that is nice. Yes, there is older fridges & microwaves but they are very clean. Bathrooms are clean and tidy!

My husband and I stayed here to wait out a storm on our way to California. We were pleased to see that the inn has dish network, but then learned it offers no local channels. Only two lamps worked...not critical. However, when my husband went to put soft drinks into the mini fridge, he found a leftover take out salad....

While there is lots of hot water, shampoo and soap, the beds are comfortable but the pillows were another story; the room was horribly dirty, in fact, close to filthy. Walls had brown drips on them, corners filled, someone ruined the finish on their nice furniture by using something other than a polish, made it look horrible. I suspect that...

The Interstate Inn was a great choice for my wife and I to stay the night. The manager of this inn is Shelly. She has taken great strides to create such a wonderful inn. Each room has all the equipment needed for a one night stay or a weeks stay. The rooms are actually spotlessly clean. Both my wife and I enjoyed...

“There is a Budget Inn down the road; we have not stayed there;,next trip we will. If you must, the middle row, it is the quietest;”

“Try to stay in the 2nd row, further away from the highway. Corner rooms cannot be beat; I will also share that this is also a motel that frequently is full due to the fact that the RR uses it as does construction companies when in the area.”

“There is o fitness center nor pool, but if weather is agreeable, there is a nice hike available just by looking around or take a drive to the train museum and go look at the rest of Douglas. A wonderful, smaller community that seems to care about each other..LaCosta has excellent Mexican fare but the price is a little high for the average traveler. Service, always good!! We have been in various rooms; for whatever reason we prefer the east end but either level is great as there are rooms in back of the ones you see from the highway. Be sure and take an extra towel if you are going to do your hair or simply ask for another. They will smile and give you one!”
