When we pulled in here with our 19 ft RV, we were shown to a gravel spot facing the highway in the sun with no fire pit, picnic table or shade (better for big rigs with an awning, which we did not have). The thought of spending 3 nights like that was not fun. However, if you just start talking to the owners you quickly find out that they will do anything to make you happy. After politely asking for a change, we moved to a grassy spot, closer to shade, moved a fire pit and picnic table over to our spot (hint you can move anything you like within reason) and they gave us a 50/30 amp converter to make it work. Did not make us feel like we were putting them out at all. Quite the contrary, the family that owns this RV campground will sit around and chat with you, laugh, tell stories, etc. What a great bonus. Get to know this very local family. Other hidden bonuses of this park - The riverside setting is beautiful if you are tent camping you will want to pitch your tent here. Bring fishing poles too as you can fish without a license. You can even tube down the river if you want. Kids will enjoy this spot. The wifi is pretty good and you can even sit inside the bathroom building (which is inside an empty house on the property) and get some work done quietly on your laptop. We would definitely go back here! Thank you Bob, Raina and family.

Upon first look the campground appears a bit concerning, but that feeling quickly dissolved when you meet Shanda. Shanda (like Panda) is a caring woman who views every visitor as family. Literally, she came and checked on us before we went to sleep, she spent time with each customer as well. I’d recommend this place for the hospitality and the other campers we met there too.

A great little spot tucked away in the trees right by the river! Lots of space to walk and a let the kids run around! This was such an excellent spot for a family. There was very little traffic. A gorgeous place to in a quaint little town!
