Our family has spent two weeks at Ring Lake just about every summer; and we have loved it. The ranch does so much to create a very genuine sense of community for each session during the summer. The staff is fantastic. We've enjoyed the speakers every year and look forward to both reconnecting with old acquaintances and meeting new people from around the country. The scenery is spectacular; and we've always enjoyed the planned hikes and horseback rides. The food is abundant. Perfect place for families to get away from screens and distractions. Absolutely one of our favorite places in the world.
My husband and I had a fabulous week at Ring Lake Ranch. It is a magical place to rest, renew, learn, and meet the most interesting people. Ive been many times - solo and with friends. Every visit, I renew friendships and make new ones. The staff is great, beautiful horses, hiking, fishing, delicious food and provocative speakers. I love the structure: play (or rest) during the day, gather for presentation (or not) in the evening. A treasure of a place!
My 10 year old grandson and myself stayed at Ring Lake Ranch from May 30th through June 5th. The entire experience was fantastic. The scenery is so majestic with snow capped mountains all around. The cabins were very nice and the food was exceptional. The staff was top notch. We went horseback riding, canoeing, hiking and took advantage of the riding lessons. All of that was included in the package, no extra charges. This ranch is a gem.
Ring Lake Ranch is the perfect combination of community, learning, wilderness, physical engagement, and spiritual renewal. I have rarely experienced such hospitality. The food is plentiful and delicious. A great place for solo travelers or for families with children and/or teens. There are horse rides and hikes every day with plenty of time for fishing, snoozing, and exploring.
I was greatly impressed and totally in awe of my week trip at Ring Lake. Not only was the scenery gorgeous with the lakes, the mountains, and the Dinwoody Glacier as a natural background, but the ranch itself is very pristine.. The management and staff was awesome with their warmth, kindness, and true dedication to making everyone's trip a memorable experience. Although some times were busy, one could also rest and relax in the quietness of what Mother Nature had to offer. No hustle-bustle, no immediate demands, nor any expectations. One could could rest, play, fish, hike, boat, horseback ride and just tell stories around a warm campfire. This is really a true "heavenly" experience.
