We first stayed at the Buckrail several years ago on our way to Yellowstone, attracted by its inexpensive price. We were pleasantly surprised then of what great accommodaions were offerred so when we returned to Wyoming late this May we booked the Buckrail again. The Lodge is on a quiet residential street backing up to Snow King Mountain. Rooms are...

Wow ! I found the listing for Bucktrail Lodge on the internet last night when we decided at the last minute to drive from Yellowstone down to Jackson Hole so our brother could see the fabulous elk antler arches. After reading the reviews on Tripadvisor (our bible when we travel) I called & talked to Janet, a very pleasant lady...

I had stayed here for my sister’s wedding and it really was a great little place. Actually is a great location, right near Snow King Resort, and a walk to the Million Dollar Cowboy Bar downtown is a “short” 10 block walk. It’s nice to have that option in the event you wish to not fight the parking downtown. It...

Impeccably clean, very charming log style rooms, large modern bathrooms. 4 blocks from the main square in Jackson in a pleasant, quiet residential neighborhood. Very nice park-like surroundings (many other motels in Jackson, we noted, were crowded onto typical asphalt only parking lots). Arts Center is close by. Snow King ski area just behind. The owner, Janet, is very helpful...

Great place to stay. Small hotel with only 12 rooms. VERY nice owners. Very clean and great location only a few blocks from downtown Jackson Hole. The first night we had a smaller room w/1Q which was crowded for two people. But the next two nights we had a room with 2Q (very comfortable) and LOTS of room (2 reading...

This is a small place, maybe 12 units, beautifully kept, a few blocks from town. Very quiet, residential neighborhood. We stayed in September, but I can see it being very busy in winter (it was right next to Snow King). Lovely grounds, flowers, tables on the lawn, glider. Our room had 2 queen bds, 2 chairs and a desk, small...

Hubby and I had the pleasure of staying 2 nights at the Buckrail Lodge the first week of Sept. 2011. The room was terrific. We love log cabins and the ambience of this place suited us to a tee! The room was huge with 2 nice chairs and a floor lamp that was great for reading or relaxing after a...

This was the nicest place we stayed on a recent trip to Yellowstone and the Tetons. It is very well kept and clean. They try to offer many amenities and things one would not expect. We really wanted to stay here for a long time and plan to go back if possible. It had beautiful flowers and rustic wooden rooms...

This lodge was so cozy and comfortable and super clean. It was so relaxing--we wished we could have stayed longer. The owner was very helpful regarding places to eat and things to see. A real find.
