We are from Switzerland where it snows a lot. I gather that snows a lot in Wyoming as well.
Well, this resort which has the most stunning views seems very poorly equipped to deal with snow and guests.
Firstly, check-in is a considerable distance from...More
First, I am reviewing based in the time I visited which is winter, February. I suspect this might be a much better choice in the summer. We stayed in one of the two bedroom condos on the, property. The positives are that the condo (2021) was...More
We went to Jackson from the east coast to ski. We found nice accommodations at Spring Creek Ranch.
The food and service at The Granary Restaurant was perfect. I enjoyed the scallops and my husband raved about his steak ...cooked to perfection.
Nice piano music...More
My family and I had the pleasure of a sleigh ride in the snow followed by dinner at the Granary. What a treat! We were the only four on the sleigh and because of a recent snowfall we did have skis on the sled which...More
Stayed here with my fiancé for two days in early February 2018. We came here to ski a little, eat a lot, and drink at authentic western bars.
We shopped too. Got a few tshirts, refrigerator magnets, but mostly just looked.

It's a beautiful resort, even more so now if you like snow. The fireplace makes for a romantic setting and with all the parks there's plenty to do. We stayed in the rooms with a pond out back made for enjoyable views on the balcony with the mountain view in the background. Plenty of activities through the resort (tours, horse back riding).
The rooms were a bit dated but nowhere near the negative reviews I've read. Rooms are adequate sized in my opinion, but I didn't stay there to stay in the room all day. Price is average for the area, everything in the area is pricey including restaurants.
Bottom line is I'll stay there again.

Hello, Jennifer. Thank you to everyone who has answered Jennifer's questions so far. Our property is described as Rustic Western which fits perfectly. No, as some of the others have pointed out, we do not have air conditioning or soaking tubs. Our Inn Rooms are our version of a hotel room. They are 450 sq. ft. and have either one king or two queen beds, a wood burning fireplace, a small table with two chairs and an outdoor deck facing the mountains. The soft goods in these rooms have been replaced within the past year and we are continuing to work on additional capital improvements to them. We do not want to sell you into a stay only to have you disappointed. So, if you are expecting new or modern, that is not us. If you want a genuine western hospitality experience in a rustic western setting with people who are passionate about the property and the destination, then we are the perfect spot.
