My friend and I arrived at the Wagon late at night has after a long drive from Boulder CO. We stopped in on a whim, not wanting to set up camp late at night. Eileen (the manager) could not have been kinder or more helpful. She is absolutely fantastic. The rooms are as expected: clean and comfortable enough, but nothing fancy. Warm showers and fresh towels. Definitely would repeat, especially at our rate of $70/night. Again, Eileen is great.

We rolled into town during Rendezvous, meaning motel rooms are SCARCE! But we found a room at the Wagon Wheel. Eileen, the manager was very friendly and accommodating. She had one room left and we nabbed it. It didn't have a fridge but there was an ice machine to keep our food cold. We also didn't detect any A/C so it was a little warm in our room. Wireless internet was available but it was iffy. I finally gave up trying to use it. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. The weirdest thing that happened was some (obviously drunk) women banged on our door at 2:30 a.m. My husband yelled they had the wrong room and they went away. I guess this could happen at any motel in any town but it sure made for a sleep weary night. Overall, we'd still stay at the Wagon Wheel again because Eileen was so nice and the price was right. We just hope the intoxicated wanderer stays in her own room next time.
