I did not have need of a room, but I always like to have dinner at The Lamplighter whenever I am in town. Tonight, they did not disappoint. Our server, Samantha, did a great job. We had time to enjoy our drinks and visit before ordering. I love that juice or soup and salad are included without having to order...

I'm used to fitness areas, swimming pools, breakfast, and that's just for starters. This place has none of that. What it does have, more than makes up for the lack of amenities; friendly staff, basics covered to the 9s, and an amazing restaurant that could hold its own in any big city. Ill give you some examples of why you...

This restaurant puts out the best steaks and salads and sandwiches and soups... Period!! The cook is surpassed by no one. The wait staff is superb, smiling and serving up a storm!! When in Powell, do as the Romans do and eat here.

Very good food, service, and atmosphere. Wide selection on the menu. I had a great steak and wife had two nice sized crab cakes. Seemed to be a good number of locals. Spoke to one customer who visits the area quite often and told us he always eats here.

The room was large, clean, and comfortable with plenty of outlets for charging our electronics. Each room had 2 chairs outside to enjoy the fresh air. Very friendly owner who informed us about the onsite restaurant and liquor store. Free bagged ice was available too. Very conveniently located in Powell. Look forward to staying at the Lamplighter Inn when we...

The room was dated, and doesnt have enough receptacles. I understand not all rooms get a refrigerator but we were provided with one. The tv is old and only got one channel. The pipes could be noisy. However we slept well for 6 nights and we might consider it if we will be in the area

I usually stay at the chain motel down the street but thought I'd give this a try since its closer to downtown. Wow! Check-in was easy and the gentleman was super friendly and helped with some directions. The room is small but actually didn't feel cramped at all. The bath was recently updated and the tub/shower was huge! I could...

I don't normally stay in motels so I didn't think I would like the Lamplighter. It was clean, and the staff was extremely nice and helpful. This isn't a 5* property, but is the best option for Powell. If I find myself in the area again, I would definitely stay here again.

Room was clean and comfortable. Rick the manager was very nice and helpful. Would highly recommend this motel in Powell. Only stayed one night, but if ever back in the Powell area would certainly stay here again.

This hotel was great! The rooms were very clean and quite! I wish there were refrigerators in the room, but that is all I can say to make the rooms better. I will definitely stay at this hotel the next time I am in Powell.
