I just got back from The Hideout and cannot wait to go back. It was truly the best trip I've ever taken (and that's saying something considering I've been to some pretty awesome places in Europe and North America.)

My mother and I had the most memorable and special experience at the Hideout last week. I knew the horseback riding and the scenery would be stupendous, having read up before the trip. What I had not realized, however, was to what extent the Hideout...More

Hello and thank you for your interest in our ranch. We do have several testimonials on there of families and multi-generational travelers. However we have a minimum age of 7 years old and reqiure the parents to ride and enjoy activities together with the children because this is a great bonding experience. That is why we do not have a kids program. it is also why the families that vacation here choose The Hideout.
But that is just how we operate our experience because it is the way we ourselves and all our staff who have families travel.
Let us know if you have more questions. Again thank you for your interest in The Hideout and allowing us to explain how we operate.

Thank you for your question about our accommodations. We have five duplex cabins each with two completely separate rooms. One room has a king bed and sitting area and the other room has two double beds. The only thing the rooms share is a porch. Of course each of the rooms has a full bath and are quite spacious and decorated in an upscale Western manner.
We also have our Casita which is a building with four separate newly remodeled rooms. The two rooms upstairs have a king bedroom, small living room and kitchen. The two rooms downstairs have a king room with sitting area and a separate queen bedrooms. Each of the Casita units have their own bathroom and washer/dryer unit.
If you Google The Hideout Lodge & Guest Ranch and go to our website, we have a very extensive description of what is included in each of the rooms along with pictures and videos of all our units. While there, you can also make a request for reservation or contact us with questions. I look forward to hearing from you - Rebecca Bercher, Hideout Office Manager
