There are not enough superlatives in the dictionary to describe the Hideout. Run on European rails and backed with Western charm this is a place that justifies the repeat business for which it is blessed.

Hi, thanks for your question about wildlife viewing. It does depend on the time of year you visit as to what wildlife you will see. We don't however have bison in the area. You would need to visit Yellowstone for that. We do see elk but generally in the fall season. We regularly see mule deer, moose, hawks, eagles, coyotes, foxes, rabbits and other small creatures. Thank you for asking and please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any further questions.
I was there in May/June this year and would concur with all the above. There were also deer and fawn around the casita. Let the wonderful Peter and Marijn know what you want and I am sure that they will help.

Hello and thank you for your interest in our ranch. We do have several testimonials on there of families and multi-generational travelers. However we have a minimum age of 7 years old and reqiure the parents to ride and enjoy activities together with the children because this is a great bonding experience. That is why we do not have a kids program. it is also why the families that vacation here choose The Hideout.
But that is just how we operate our experience because it is the way we ourselves and all our staff who have families travel.
Let us know if you have more questions. Again thank you for your interest in The Hideout and allowing us to explain how we operate.
Sincerely,
Peter De Cabooter - General Manager / Owner
