We loved Captain Cook and this place is wonderful. You are basically staying on a big back porch among the banana leaves and serenaded by frogs (so not for those who need to sleep where it is totally quiet). The breakfast was wonderful (they grow all the fruits and the coffee) and the tour amazing. You get a real feel...

Lucky farm is very good value for money and is a great place if you like a personalized experience in rustic settings. The hosts are very friendly and knowledgable. The breakfast is delicious, and the optional garden tour very interesting. They have coolers, beach towels and snorkeling gear for you to borrow for free. We spent the first two nights...

Pomaika'i B and B is a fascinating working organic farm. Rooms are in the lush setting of myriad flowering and fruiting tropical trees and plants. Co-hosts Johnsie and J.P. will make your stay memorable. Johnsie is an amazing cook who prepares the most beautiful and delicious organic fruit tray we've ever seen or eaten. She was accommodating to both vegan...

Reserve the Coffee Barn! You'll feel like your in the jungle! This isn't for the person looking for turndown service and movie. This is a working farm that also is a B&B. Comes with breakfast and a tour of the farm that features coffee, avocados, mangos, passion fruit and MUCH more! Owners are great and knowledgable!

My husband and I stayed at Lucky Farms for 4 nights in Feb 2014, and enjoyed every second. Synopsis in no particular order: - We enjoyed learning about the organic fruits growing on the trees (citris, passion, mango, papaya, bananas, coffee, mac nuts, others I don't know the names of) - We looked forward to the wonderful breakfasts - tailored...

We stayed at Lucky Farm for two days during our very first trip to Hawaii. First of all, I'd like to say that we really, thoroughly enjoyed this place and the people who run it; but be aware that it's not an ideal setting for everyone, especially the chintz and chablis set. If you don't want to be in close...

The breakfast and the graciousness of the hosts were the highlights of our stay at Lucky Farm. On the whole, however, I cannot recommend staying here because the house is not kept in a clean or comfortable condition. Overall, I found the condition of the house unacceptable. Both my girlfriend and I thought it smelled strange when we arrived. Although...

Lucky Farm is not a luxury resort but that's not what we were looking for. We truly enjoyed JP's tour of the extensive and varied 'farm,' the delicious fruit on the breakfast table, and Johnsie's cooking. The location is handy to beaches along the coast, it was economical accommodation and a slice of Hawaiian living. The kitchen for guest use...

We stayed at lucky farms January of 2013 and it was great. The farm tour was fantastic; we were followed around by a few outdoor only farm cats. I loved hearing the history of Hawaii, about the tropical plants grown there and loved eating them fresh every morning. I've never seen avocados as big as grape fruit before! The highlight...
