Ken and Erin are such gracious and hospitable people! They are both fabulous cooks with organic products. The rooms are very elegant hawaiian style, roomy and comfortable. Even the futons are nice to sleep on! After an exhausting trip before our arrival, it was a perfect place to relax. A gem away from the tourist areas with a spectacular view... More

After a 5 night stay a the Luana Inn, I completely agree with its wonderful reviews I had read on Trip Advisor. Ken and Erin run an exceptional holiday place. It rose above all my expectations of a beautiful spot to relax on the Big Island.. The location and service are "5 star"and the perfect place to experience the local... More

We just got back from 4 nights at the Luana Inn in Captain Cook, HI, and wish we could have stayed much much longer. Ken and Erin are very warm and helpful hosts, breakfasts were gourmet quality and the overall feeling of the inn is homey and inviting. Our room off the lanai had a fabulous view of the ocean,... Luana Inn is everything we look for in a bed & breakfast. Erin and Ken were very helpful and friendly. The rooms were great.....spacious, kitchen amenities, wonderful shower, and a VERY comfortable bed. The breakfasts were hearty and delicious. There is also great snorkeling and kayaking less than a mile from the property. Be sure to try the shaved ice... More

We booked our stay to the Luana Inn based on all the great TripAdvisor reviews and felt we had a very different experience. When we arrived Ken welcomed us and showed our room and pool/deck area. Erin was outside with her kids and other family members and never once introduced herself our entire stay. As soon as we got there... More

We have already written a letter of apology to this guest, and we are deeply sorry that she and her husband didn't enjoy their stay with us. We would like to clarify a few points: 1. The people Erin was talking to when these guests arrived were not family, they were other guests. 2. If I acted put out by... More

We stayed here for 9 nights and Ken and Erin could not have been better hosts. We were greeted before we had even got out of our car when we arrived. Ken then gave us a full tour around the B&B and provided loads of details on local sites to see, places to eat, things to do etc. In fact... More

The Luana Inn offered one of the most charming vacations we have ever had - and we vacation quite often. Ken and Erin BOTH made amazing breakfasts each day of our visit. I would wake up every morning anticipating the breakfast hour with my husband. Each day I of our 5 morning vacation was welcomed with a different breakfast -... More

My wife and I stayed at Luana Inn for five days just after our arrival on the Big Island. The location is wonderful, on the sunny Kona coast but not too close to town; up on a hillside, on beautiful grounds. We stayed in the Alaula Suite, which was very spacious, has a wonderfully comfortable bed, a kitchenette, a private... More

I agree to all what was said about this inn. Both Erin and Ken were very good hostess/host. Erin is a great cook. The inn is very comfortable to be in. We stayed at the Moana room. What I would like to comment is how to get to this place. From the turn off on the main highway it will... More
