We stayed two nights at the B&B. The location is amazing and the B&B is gorgeous and it flows with the lush and all the beautiful sorroundings. The night frog sounds are relaxing and you get the feeling that you are sleeping in the middle of a far-away rainforest. Claudia is an extremely interesting person, good conversation and very good...

My husband and I were looking to stay somewhere away from the resorts and crowds. This is the perfect Island getaway if you want the "aloha spirit"! Our host was very pleasant, she provided maps and advice about where to go and the breakfasts were something to look forward to to get our day started. The ambiance of our room...

While this B and B was not the worst place that I have ever stayed, it was not up to the standards of a typical Bed and Breakfast. I prefer to stay in B&B's as opposed to hotels and I have stayed in many all over the country. The service here was by far the worst I've ever encountered. Claudia...

We absolutely loved this beautiful, comfortable place across the street from the ocean. The lush and unique landscaping and pond were a beautiful setting to enjoy from delightfully appointed common room. Three rooms make this an intimate setting to enjoy good comraderie of other guests. Hostess Claudia gave most excellent advice about activities and the area. She made fabulous fresh...

We stayed 5 days in January at the B&B. Its a great place. The room was beautyfull, clean and exactly so nice as at the website promoted. All rooms have a view at the private lagoon (we hade a peak). A short walk (2 min.) through the private rainforest garden will lead you to the tidepools and black beaches. We...

This place was like being in a rainforest, and yet we could still see the beach. There is a lot of lush greenery which makes one feel hidden in the tropics. Claudia was very helpful by providing us good advice on what to see and do on the island. She also made available those other small but handy items, such...

At the Beach with Friends was just that: I felt I was with friends. Claudia was great about taking care of my special dietary needs with no advanced warning! The grounds are lovely: it is a tropical paradise. The room was very comfortable. Richardson's Beach is great for swimming and meeting the wonderful people who live in the area. Also,...

The Big Island was the second portion of a two island vacation. This was our first trip to Hawaii, celebrating our 35th wedding anniversary. We spent our first five days in Oahu, a truly beautiful, vacation spot, but we are the nature lovers. Once we arrived in Hilo we knew we found our paradise. Not only is the Big Island...

I travel quite a bit in the islands for business. I go to Hilo at least 6 or 7 times a year. Over the past couple of years, I have sampled the various choices in Hilo, including the few hotels, and a couple of the B&B's. After a number of not so pleasant experiences, I happened upon Claudia's B&B. And...

We arrived in the midst of a "100 year" rain storm and truly took refuge for a brief stay. The house and grounds were absolutely lovely and the host made an extra effort to find restaurants and entertainment for us. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
