We spent two nights with Steve and Nancy and had a wonderful time. The B&B is located in a beautiful spot just at the entrance to the Waipio Valley and the view is breathtaking. The room is very spacious and spotless. If you plan on visiting the Waipio Valley, this is definitely the place to stay.

My wife and I stayed with Steve and Nancy in February of 2013 and we loved the experience so much we decided to return again in February 2014. It’s really hard to describe how peaceful and unique an experience staying at the Waipio Rim B&B is until you have had the pleasure to stay with Steve and Nancy for a... More

The view is breathtakingly beautiful. Having a meal at the lanai is most relaxing. Steve and Nancy are the most attentive hosts. Breakfasts are delicious, flavorful and home made. There is great attention to details; from landscape, decor to the tile in the shower. We joined a shuttle tour to Waipio Valley, it is indeed a special place, untouched and... More

A breathtakingly beautiful location (the view from the lanai is amazing), combined with the most hospitable and thoughtful hosts, spectacularly delicious homemade breakfasts, and a lovely room with enormous attention to detail and the needs of the guests. This was one of the most relaxing vacations my partner and I have ever spent. We are definitely planning to go back.... More

I had been to Waipio Valley on two prior trips to the Big Island and it became one of my favorite places in the world. I wanted to show my husband the island and was thrilled when fate gave us the last two days of our vacation at the Waipio Rim B&B! It just happened to have a rare opening... More

We are back from visiting for three nights, with four people in our family (three adults and one pre-teen). This is a fantastic place with fantastic hosts. To match what others have commented; the breakfasts are Hawaiian greatness (and cute for kids), the view is the best we have ever had for nature (including extra waterfalls after a rain), your... Steve and Nancy The view into the valley is one of the best anyone will ever see. We had a great time, the place is awesome. The chilled wine in the refrigerator was a great touch. The breakfast was great and the service was superb! When we return to the Big Island this will the place we will stay. Thanks... More

First of all this beautiful B&B has to have one of the top 25 views (top 10?) in the world offered by a B&B. I kid you not and it was certainly the best view from a B&B in our travels. Perched above a 1000 foot drop to a valley and black sand beach below, the view is breathtaking As... More

We very much enjoyed our stay at Waipio Rim. The room has nice furniture and is lovely decorated. The view from the terrace is amazing. We also loved the pupus as well as the breakfast prepared by our friendly hosts, Nancy and Steve.

I have waited a few weeks to write this review, because I have been looking for the right words to express how wonderful this place is. I'm not certain I have found them, but I'll try. There is no place on the Big Island that is more serene or more beautiful. My daughter and I were privileged to be there.... More
