I was in town (Hilo) for business and this was definitely the right choice for accommodations. The room was clean and large so we were not trying to maneuver around our luggage. Our October stay was breezy so the cross winds sufficiently cooled the room. Read the Inn's directions carefully so you don't pass it by. The drive to and... More

My husband and I stayed here one night after a side trip to Hilo from Kona. The grounds are very lush. Our room (#8, Paradise Views) was quite large, with a large shower/toilet room and also had an in-room Jacuzzi. The balcony was good sized with a fantastic view of the coast. Breakfast was plentiful, with local dishes. The Inn... More

Loved the view of the ocean and the grounds were very pretty. Great hospitality and breakfast! Just a little costly room charge and with add-ons like roll away $50, 2 breakfasts $30. Great weekend getaway place for couples, honeymoon, etc.

Stayed here 1 night while on the Big Island. Pros: very nice room and bed, plus the view. Great breakfast. Not so much: way far from the beach, no A/C (and no breeze) so fan use was "mandatory" to stay cool. Use insect repellent if you go out on the lanai. Finally, being nit picky: the room safe could not... More

I stayed in this hotel for one night. I am not impressed given we drove from Kona side, the view is good but it's not spectacular. I understand this is a small couple owned business but with amount of money they charge for one night, they can definitely update some pillows, sheets and towels and some furniture. Breakfast was ok,... More

Palms Cliff House agreed to host myself, my wife and our son for two nights (August 18 & 19, 2016). The final arrangements had been made in my presence by the Mauna Lani hotel concierge. We were to have two rooms for two nights: one room on the lower floor (which does not have air conditioning) and one room on... More

We are sorry there was a misunderstanding with your reservation. Your original reservation was indeed for one night, two rooms; one with air conditioning and one with out. Making changes to an existing reservation using a go between can sometimes cause a misunderstanding. It was explained to the Concierge that the air conditioned room was not available the second night.... More

This beautiful Inn has 8 rooms, all of which have breathtaking views. It is situated over a cliff with a gorgeous view over the bay. You can leave just the screen closed and let the ocean lullaby you to sleep. The rooms are large with newly renovated ensuite bathrooms. The beds are very comfortable. Breakfast was ample and delicious. All... More

The Palms Cliff-House is a large house with rooms poised on a cliff a hundred feet above the ocean. The breakfast lanai overlooks the bay, the cliffs, the forests. This side of the Big Island is mostly black lava cliffs and forests, rain clouds and waterfalls. The setting of the house is beautiful. Despite being famed for the rain, we... More

Rooms are large, with nice outdoor sitting areas...all have stunning ocean views. Charming Victorian design with tons of antiques and Hawaiiana to peruse.
