We loved the individuality of the rooms and the period-esque decor. Older reviews had indicated that cleanliness was an issue, but we found the rooms very clean and well tended. The sheets on the beds were the softest we'd ever felt! Even the kids remarked...More
This Inn is quiet, romantic, and secluded. Our room was average on the comfortable side, but a little below average on the housekeeping side. We found a lot of dust on the floorboards, cobwebs around and under the bed frame, and a cockroach in the...More
My wife and I stayed for 2 nights at the Jacaranda Inn. We were greeted by a not very social individual, who ended up being quite antisocial , almost hostile when my wife an I commented on issues with the room (not very clean, plants...More
The Jacaranda is in a country setting, as it was the managers house for the giant Parker ranch. The large house is used as the office, and is has beautiful furnishings, which appear to be original to the house. The rooms are actually little cottages...More
Very charming ambience, serene setting.
There are no activities, but neither are you assailed by people trying to get their piece of the vacationers dollar.
Spacious room, shower and Jacuzzi bath.
Listen for the wild turkeys gobbling, early in the morning.

It used to be a bed and breakfast but they stopped doing that in 2006. However I recommend that you stay at the Waimea Country Lodge. At the Jacaranda Inn my husband and I got bit really bad by mosquitos after about a week it didn't get any better so we checked out and stayed at the Waimea Country Lodge. In the same parking lot there is a restaurant called Paniolo country Inn and just about a mile down the same street is Hawaiian Style Cafe and they to have really good breakfast.(The Cafe is cash only, but well worth it).
