We had a great week in the spacious Crows Nest on the Rainbow plantation. The garden is like a rainforest, giving privacy, music of birds and a great view. The morning breakfast tasted delicious every morning and gave us the chance to talk with the other guests and crew which was very nice. The shared outside kitchen is well equipted...

We arrived at the Rainbow Plantation B&B late. The owner knew that we were going to be arriving late and did not give us directions as to how to get to our room. I tried to call and no answer which I found highly unprofessional. We drove down the narrow road and luckily saw the sign, which was very small,...

I am very sorry that nothing was according to this guests expectations. But I think any place would have a hard time pleasing this guest. She was unfriendly and demanding before she even sat foot here. Asking for this and that. We all knew she would be difficult. And she was unpleasant to us working here and other guests. Directions...

We stayed for 4 nights on the Rainbow Plantation and got the Fern Room. It’s not equipped super-modern but was clean. The highlight for us was the ocean view from the room. The facility on a former macadamia nut plantation is beautiful with a koi pond and nice paths between the buildings. There’s an outdoor kitchen and snorkeling stuff to...

We were ready for more private space after sharing a room in the last place (which was also excellent). Here we had an extra bed in the loft with amazing views. Our own living area. And own fridge. The breakfast each morning was great with fresh fruit and homemade bread, fresh juice. The only downside is that we read in...

Very nice place, exactly like on pictures: lots of rainforest plants and animals, quiet area and nice ambiance. Room is Well equiped and clean. Christian is really helpful with informing on, and booking the activities for us. For people needing calm to sleep: Maybe ask for a room which is not below christian's house, as we can hear everything and...

We arrived at the Rainbow Plantation at night. What a surprise when we woke up the next morning realising what was around us. It was wonderful. The peacock room was perfect but what we appreciated the most was our host, Christian and his team. Every morning they made a wonderful breakfast. After the breakfast we always had some talkings with...

We stayed at the Rainbow Plantation B&B for 4 night on February 2015. The room we had was the Jungle Queen, a converted boat. The accommodation was very nice, clean and unique. As the name implies, this is a plantation surrounded with nut and fruit trees. If you're looking for the typical touristy resort, you're in the wrong place. Christian,...

After enduring the crowds in Waikiki for a conference, my partner and I were fortunate to book a quiet suite at this rustic B&B. Although it's located on the dry side of the island, the lush surroundings of the B&B made us feel like we were in a rainforest. We stayed in the Hale Huna suite, which has a futon...

The pros: This place is charming and funky, complete with a koi pond, free ranging chickens, and a beautiful peacock named Romeo. It's eclectic and rustic which usually suits my taste quite nicely. The staff we encountered were kind, courteous, and helpful. The cons: 1) Cleanliness is not great - and I'm no neat freak, believe me! I've stayed in...

This guest stayed here in April. Normally we were supposed to be closed for business but some guests wanted to stay with limited service (no breakfast for example) so we decided to let them stay here. I was gone and had to rely on my assistants to help out and take care of the place, and unfortunatelly they may not...
