We stayed in the Hale Lehua Cottage. It was clean and bed was comfortable. The very loud dehumidifier going all night was really irritating - could barely hear the rain. At least the noise drowned out the noise of the sump pump or whatever it was that would go on every couple of minutes. I barely fit in the shower...

The place is in the greatest location if you plan to visit the Volcanoes National Park. Spacious, silent, comfortable room. Shower is on the small side. "Breakfast included" does not mean a typical buffet as you would expect, but rather some food (papaya, cake, chocolate powder, coffee) that, in the afternoon before, the hotel leaves in your room/fridge. The hotel...

My mom and I spent 2 nights in the Dillingham Suite during our recent trip to Hawaii. The cottages are located on a secluded, nature surrounded property approximately 1 mile from Volcanoes National Park. We loved the scenery, and being so close to the park is something that cannot be overstated. We enjoyed the breads, fresh fruit, and juice each...

Great location within a mile of the park, close to Volcano Village shops and restaurants. Unique setting in a tropical rain forest. Enjoyed our cottage and the grounds around it. The staff was friendly and helpful. Freshly baked bread was provided each day, along with papaya slices and fruit juice. It was a memorable experience staying there.

My husband and I stayed in Camellia which was perfect for us. The cottages are like nothing I've ever seen before. Beautiful grounds tucked away off the road surrounded by lush greenery. We only stayed one night and had plenty of space in our room. The staff there are extremely friendly and helpful and go out of their way to...

My husband and I stayed in the Ihilani cottage and loved it. The setting was so peaceful and serene. We enjoyed sitting out back with a cup of coffee. The juice, fruit and banana bread supplied for breakfast was just perfect before a day of hiking. The cottage had a comfortable queen bed, a small bathroom and kitchen. It was...

We stayed in the Ihilani Cottage and this is a perfect romantic, comfortable spot to stay in Volcano Village. The inside of the cottage is adorable. We had breakfast waiting for us to be eaten in the morning — freshly baked fruit bread with jam, sliced mangoes, bananas, granola bars and the best juice I've ever had. This cottage is...

We stayed only one night in the Dillingham Suite at Hale Ohio Cottages but it was very enjoyable. We had lots of room, the bed was comfortable and the surroundings were quiet and gorgeous. Some of the rare native Hawaiian birds, i'iwi, apapane, were in the trees right outside our lovely deck, much to my birdwatching husband's delight. The cottages...

My husband and I stayed two nights in the Dillingham suite. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Fresh baked bread, fresh fruit, juice and tea for breakfast in our room each morning was a perfect way to start the day. So peaceful and quiet at night - perfect for sleeping with the windows open. Loved our stay and would...

Cottages were older but very clean and cozy. The location was perfect for going to Volcano National Park. We had an unavoidable maintenance issue and they moved us to another cottage. We thoroughly enjoyed the fruit and bread breakfasts.
