My husband and I stayed in the Ihilani cottage and loved it. The setting was so peaceful and serene. We enjoyed sitting out back with a cup of coffee. The juice, fruit and banana bread supplied for breakfast was just perfect before a day of hiking. The cottage had a comfortable queen bed, a small bathroom and kitchen. It was...

We stayed in the Ihilani Cottage and this is a perfect romantic, comfortable spot to stay in Volcano Village. The inside of the cottage is adorable. We had breakfast waiting for us to be eaten in the morning — freshly baked fruit bread with jam, sliced mangoes, bananas, granola bars and the best juice I've ever had. This cottage is...

We stayed only one night in the Dillingham Suite at Hale Ohio Cottages but it was very enjoyable. We had lots of room, the bed was comfortable and the surroundings were quiet and gorgeous. Some of the rare native Hawaiian birds, i'iwi, apapane, were in the trees right outside our lovely deck, much to my birdwatching husband's delight. The cottages...

My husband and I stayed two nights in the Dillingham suite. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Fresh baked bread, fresh fruit, juice and tea for breakfast in our room each morning was a perfect way to start the day. So peaceful and quiet at night - perfect for sleeping with the windows open. Loved our stay and would...

Cottages were older but very clean and cozy. The location was perfect for going to Volcano National Park. We had an unavoidable maintenance issue and they moved us to another cottage. We thoroughly enjoyed the fruit and bread breakfasts.

Definitely, not your run of the mill resort hotel. But for our grown family of five, this was our favourite stay of our vacation. The accommodation is older but has loads of character. The provided breakfast (fruit, juice and quick bread) is a great start to the day or good for snacks throughout. The location is excellent and close to...

What a cute place with so much charm and manicured gardens to boot! Stayed one night in the master room which is located inside the main house where you check in. There are also separate cabins on the property which I imagine might be suitable for families. The room was lovely and the bed was super comfortable (queen size). There was...

I stayed here 11 years ago, it was fun coming back because each cottage is completely different. Ours had a grass skirt as a bed skirt :) totally charming, gorgeous grounds, great little gift shop, Loved the breakfast left for us the night before (loved the coffee, and the hot chocolate was great for my husband who doesn't like coffee)....

This place looks like something out of a fantasy novel (somewhere in Middle Earth!). The ground around the hotel are lush, green, covered in moss and ferns. Gorgeous! The hotel (I stayed in a room in the main building) is a beautiful, unique historic building with stylish, old furniture and decor including beautiful stained glass windows in the bathroom. Breakfast...
