My family stayed in Skye's Treehouse #1 in Volcano for two nights after being in Kona for five nights. Skye met us at the treehouse and gave us a tour. He is so hospitable and made us feel right at home. We were all so impressed by Skye's creativity and how he built every convenience into the treehouse. Wherever we...

I love to meet and greet my guests and enjoy all their ooo's and aaah's as they discover all the creative touches I so enjoyed building into the TreeHouse. The full kitchen and separate toilet and shower areas makes it a perfect multiple guests vacation rental, even families with older, privacy minded kids. The lanai ( deck) is at the...

We stayed one night while visiting the east side of the island from our Kohala beach holiday. We are a family of four and our two young kids (5 and 7) were absolutely enchanted with this treehouse, especially the rainforest lanai/walkway and their "secret beds" (take a look at the website and the slideshow gallery there). The whole place is...

Magical! Built among giant ferns and ancient native ohia trees, home to sweet song birds, gentle rains and huge starry night skies, this tree house is a work of functional art! Perched 20 feet above, yet still inside a tropical rainforest, the extra large glass windows are your open view to the beauty that surrounds you. The bedroom on the...

My husband and our daughters stayed here. You will love it! Your trip to this part of the island would not be complete with out staying in this fun place. Adults and children will both love this. This is quite different, as is suggests. Skye the owner was really nice and very helpful with tourist ideas and local knowledge. As long as expectations are realistic, this is a great experience. The location is a good 10min drive out of the park, so not as close as I thought. It is quite an amazing structure, but a little...

This place is even better in real life than in the photos. I don’t know the grownups or the kids were more excited for our stay. As it turned out this place exceeded everyone’s wildest dreams. It’s like staying in a super comfy work of art. Everything is spotlessly clean and gorgeous. Skye has considered every detail. There is awesome...

As all of the reviews say, this is an immaculately built tree house and a once in a lifetime experience. It was so beautiful we wanted to be here more than the national park. If you do book - and you should, and you like to eat good food, please heed Skye's advice and stock up at a supermarket in...

The treehouse was super clean and had everything you need to make your stay comfortable. Skye was very informative of things the locals do. He told us of several things we may have missed had we not talked with him. Skye is very friendly and easy to talk to and the treehouse is absolutely amazing. Loved every minute there. Thank...

We loved our stay in the tree house. It is very unique and secluded. If you are looking to be one with nature this is the place for you. I will say it was a little odd feeling the first night not having any window shades, but you get used to it once you realize how nice it is be...

“It's only 1 treehouse. It can get a bit humid like in any rainforest, so pack a fleece to be comfy. however, the fireplace is great and the thick blankets and doonas bring all the warmth you need.”

“Be sure to talk to Skye about which house to book, both are fantastic. If I were to choose, the first one he built (where he added the outdoor walkway) is best for couples and people who really want to feel surrounded by nature. The new house he built is good for families or larger groups as there more separated living spaces so people don't feel like they're on top of each other.”
