Stayed 2 nights in one of the twin cottages with our two young children. The cottage was very nice, bedding and furnishings in good shape but not new by any means. Full kitchen, with pans and utensils, was included, so we could cook. Place was super quiet, no road or neighbor noise (no barking dogs or roosters, which can happen... More

A great place to take some time to relax either side of a hike up the amazing Mauna Loa. As we were short stay we were unfortunately unable to get our whole party in the same rooms, but the owners were quite hospitable to us nevertheless. The rooms had great facilities, and the spa was a nice touch. Would go... More

The Volcano Guest House B&B is strategically located in Volcano village, minutes from the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. We were greeted by a young woman who looked and acted about as friendly as the KGB minders that old Soviet hotels had on each floor. The instructions for guests, posted in various places on the property, must have been written by... More

The guest house is very close to all the attractions in the area and we loved staying in the Twins cabin (1 big bed and 2 smaller prob twin-size beds). The kitchens were amazingly stocked with everything you could think of and the place was large enough for a small family (there is no privacy between the beds because there... More

* good price: we pay about $90 per night from AirBnB and we were fortunately upgraded to Claudia's Place. * goog amenities: We had in-room stoves to cook and prepare our own food, and kitchenwares were ready to use. Room and bathroom is nice and clean. Aslo we really like the jacuzzi in the public dinning room. * good service:... More

my family and I really enjoyed our stay at volcano guest house. We stayed in the Akala house which had ample room and bedding and was an ideal choice for the 7 of us. The staff are friendly and helpful and the information folder even included all the menus of the nearby restaurants to help you decide where to eat... More

We loved our stay in this B&B! We got a clean, practical and nicely furnished little house directly in the lush vegetation. Volcano is a very small city, but by car a general store and a couple of restaurants are easy to reach. This B&B is ideal for anybody who wants to stay a little longer in the Volcano National... What a find! We loved this B&B. Volcano Guest House is just a few minutes from Volcanoes National Park and situated on a gorgeous, lush property with a variety of cottages to stay in. We were in 'Olapa House, a lovely 3 bedroom 3 bath. “Olapa is beautifully decorated with fresh tropical flowers in every room. The beds were so... More

Volcano Guest House is an excellent base to explore the nearby Volcanoes National Park. The rainforest and gardens that surround the accomodation is also a nature photographer's delight. Our group of 4 adults found the rooms to be clean and comfortable and well appointed. Good value too. Our booking was handled professionally by email (we are from Australia so it... More

Beautiful rain forest retreat. The location can not be more ideal for visiting the Hawaii Volcano National Park (barely a couple of miles away), but is secluded enough to feel a world away. Truly lovely. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable. Alan and Bonnie made us feel so welcome. Alan moved the basketball hoop so my son could shot... More
