The ultimate in tranquility. From the lush grounds to the friendly staff and beautiful rooms you are truly spoiled here. The fireplace illuminates the room throughout the night and the rainforest surroundings truly make this the most romantic place on Earth! Very close to Volcano National Park - so sightseeing is very convenient!

This is one of the most special places I've ever been to. Not only is the location (close to national park) very convenient, but also the surroundings are beautiful: it feels like you are surrounded by jungle, yet you are in a really luyurious room. It doesn't stop there: The loving attention to every little detail is simply amazing.

My husband and I feel that our stay at Volcano Village Lodge was a true blessing. We stayed in the Mauna Loa cottage and experienced perfect relaxation. The surroundings are a tropical delight and, like a butterfly coming out of a cocoon, we felt reborn. Every detail for comfort was addressed. We enjoyed busy days that started with a sumptuous...

We initially were a bit cautious about the Volcano Village Lodge after getting double charged for our reservation. But after a phone call, all was fixed, very quickly and cordially . The place is beautiful and very peaceful. It offers a great location for touring the volcano park, and the gentle patter of rain on all the vegetation surrounding our...

Extraordinary location perfect for a mountain jungle recharge. The opposite of big hotel beach crowds and golf nuts. Volcano village is a 20 minute drive uphill to 4000 feet near the Volcano park. About 3000 people in the town are a mix of scientific types active retirees and orchid / artist / philosopher types. The acomodations are uniquely crafted. It...

My husband and I decided to splurge and planned a Hawaiian vacation in May 2008. We found Volcano Village Lodge on the internet and were taken with the rain forest atmosphere in the photos. We booked a week-long stay. It remains one of the most interesting vacations we have taken, and the lodge is one of the most pleasant places...

Volcano Village Lodge was our penultimate stay on a three week holiday in the States. We arrived in the evening and our lodge, nestled among the rain forest was prepared, welcoming and very private. Fresh tropical fruits were cut in the fridge along with a lot of other goodies for breakfast. it felt like coming home after all the big...

My husband and I stayed for one night in the Mauna Loa Lodge and it was beautiful. The entire site and all the rooms are set up so that you don't necessarily see anything other than the beautiful rainforest landscape surrounding all of the lodges/cabins. The large windows, fireplace, luxury shower, and comfy bed made for a welcome rest after...

We spent 3 nights at Volcano Village Lodge. It was wonderful...nothing not to like. We had to change rooms after the first night due to booking availability, but we knew that in advance and agreed to it. We were offered a discount too because of it. Our first night was in Hale Manaluna which was a little bit more spacious...
