We loved our stay at Lokahi Lodge. The building is older, but clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. It was a great place to come back to after a day of hiking and sightseeing. We would absolutely stay there again! Especially after they get the hot tub area up and running.

I booked this lodging on-line. It is set in a quiet area in a house that had roughly 10 rooms set around a center hallway with an outside porch that went around the whole exterior. The rooms were large, and had access to the patio. They had a refrigerator, which was quite noisy, coffeemaker, microwave, wine glasses, silverware wrapped in...

The room was clean and just what I needed. One night during my stay, I accidently locked myself out of the room after viewing the volcano in the early am, I called the staff and received a quick response and was able to enter my room in less than 15 min. Will definately stay again. The staff at the front...

We had a very late check in time, but they had everything ready and was no problem. Which was very nice as we were exhausted. The room was spacious, clean, had the softest towels and plenty of them. Mini fridge, coffee pot and basic utensils made things helpful. Not a lot of self space in bathroom, but we used the...

Visiting relatives in Oahu, we decided to take a jump over to Hawaii to see the volcano. A few days out, we wanted CHALET KILAUEA HOTEL, but the availability for 2 beds (there were 3 of us- a couple and a single) was at Lokahi Lodge. Happy to get a reservation, we booked. Upon arrival, the Chalet Kilauea is minutes...

This was my second stay in this building. I like it because it is (relatively) easy to find when coming back from the National Park in the dark. The room was quite spacious and the bed was very comfortable. There is a fridge, microwave and coffee machine plus there are bowls, plates and cutlery. The shower is spacious though I...

When we decided to spend the night near Kilauea Crater to view the lava at night, we found a vacancy at the small Lokahi Lodge. Our upstairs room (201) was very nice. Extremely spacious, comfortable bed, kitchenette, couch seating area, everything you need. The view of the rainforest just outside was lovely. Price very reasonable, especially compared to the iconic...

Quaint little guest lodge is how I would describe this place. Really not bad at all and in a beautiful location. Clean room but very basic. Reminds me of guest quarters at the dude ranches I used to visit.

We stayed two nights during our honeymoon. We´ve chosen this hotel, due to the good location next to the Volcano national park (below 5 minutes per car to main gate). The lodge is located in the middle of the nature. The room was quite big, clean and had a nice atmosphere. There was no opportunity for breakfast at the lodge,...
