We stayed in the Pamakani room at the Lokahi Lodge which was exactly what we were looking for. We had been on O'ahu and on the Kona side of the Big Island, now we were looking for quiet. This room was perfect, the setting, the decor, the fireplace, the hot tub on the patio right outside, the updated bathroom all...

In the middle of the rain forest, the only noises wheres the bird calls. After a long journey, it was a place very relaxing to sleep in. The volcanoes are very near by car or hiking, the room very well equiped with free Wifi. To be recommanded for sure

We abruptly decided to stay in Volcano and found this property. It was very nice, clean, and located in a quite place. We woke up early morning with voices of birds chirping and nature getting ready for another day, and took a walk in the neighborhood. The overall experience was awesome.

During our vacation in the Kohala District, we booked a night at Lokahi Lodge in the Liko Room so we could visit Volcano National Park at night. Check-in went smoothly at the The Chalet Kilauea which is maybe 2 miles from Lokahi Lodge – both are very easy to find. The Lokahi Lodge is a small unit with 5 guest...

We arrived about 7.30 on a chilly, dark, wet night, dropped off by a tour bus as we didn't have a car at that stage. Luckily reception was still open and the bus didn't leave us and go as the lodge was quite some distance from the chalet reception, down unlit, narrow lanes, and hard to find in the dark....

Mahalo for your comments and feedback of Lokahi Lodge. We are glad that you had an enjoyable stay with us. I stayed in the Makalapua room which is spacious and has a king size bed. I thought the bed was very comfortable. There was a coffee maker, fridge and microwave in an alcove. TV mounted high on the wall. It was always very warm in room even when it was cold outside. Everything was very clean and the towels were...

We stayed in the building about 1 mile drive from main house. Our room was very comfortable with A microwave and refrig. The continental breakfast was adequate. We even made use of the Hot tub in rear of building. If you plan on buying food be sure to do so in Hilo before getting on road to The Lodge. Restaurants...

We stayed at the Kilauea Lodge many years ago and, while we had a nice time, I am very happy we tried Lokahi Lodge. We booked two rooms, the Makalapua Room and the Naupaka Room. There were four of us in total and I think we could have all fit into the Naupaka Room using one of the futons that...
