I strongly advise you to not book this hotel if you do not want to end up spending your vacation in a room with "concrete view". Even though I've been a loyal marriott platinum member for years, I ended up in a room looking at...More

The property this hotel is on is outstanding. A great beach, natural ponds, grasses, and amazing sunsets. As well, the pools and hot tubs are outstanding. The public spaces are high end resort in feel and upkeep. The rooms are Marriott rooms, not dissimilar to...More

I always expect a quality experience when staying at a Marriott. This is in a beautiful beachfront location, with a walk to the beach along a couple of pools containing native fish and turtles. There are three pools, including an infinity pool.

I can’t tell you what you will get at this resort under any name they call their rooms. We booked a king bed room and got a room with two double bed garden room. They did give us a king but ended up looking over the buildings rooftop at the same price. There is simply not enough staff at this hotel to serve vacationer needs. Also ambiance in main restaurant us awful.Strongly suggest Fairmont Orchid. Absolutely worth the extra dollars

( curious that hotel had soooo few bathrooms! Even the bathrooms off the lobby were out of order- most inconvenient to have those out of order in addition to ones listed in my post- we just felt that there was a disconnect with management- we also got locked out of our room for an hour because of dead battery on door to our room- some maintenance issues w/o attention?
