Everything was great for us (clean room/property, convenience to nearby food court/grocery store, etc). The only note of caution is their front desk staff Debbie is NOT very friendly (and would definitely provide you with her fake smile). We watched other front desk staffs noting nearby food amenities that were still open (we arrived at 10 pm), etc. Debbie did...

My first trip to Hawaii was amazing! I loved the hotel. We were warmly welcomed by staff and because it was my birthday, they upgraded our room for the week. Beautiful facility, lots of activities and wonderful food. They provide a welcome Mai Tai so we stopped by the open concept bar which overlooks the pools and ocean. The dinner...

I watched the staff rake up each and every leaf from the grass in the morning. The pathways to the pools and beach were immaculate. The rooms were normal hotel rooms, but the view was great. The pillows were too soft, but other than that - great!

This is our second stay at the Marriott. It is not an overwhelming large resort so you don't feel like a number or get lost trying to find something. The location is just beautiful. The royal fish ponds are at the property and it is a wonderful place to walk the grounds. We were celebrating a special anniversary and the...

I just loved this hotel for so many reasons... firstly the hotel is very pretty. The grounds have several pools with bridges and sitting/sunning areas. Flora and Fauna are spectacular The beds are heavenly - comfy. The prize is that it sits right on A-BAY... which is perfect for us snorkelers.

We spend nine days at the Waikoloa Beach Marriott, it is about 30 minutes from Kona and about 20 minutes from the airport so it is a little isolated but that was one of the reasons we loved the place. No crowds and no highway noise but everything else you could want. Three pools, three hot tubs, and ocean beach...

I am very happy I stayed in Waikoloa and not Kona. Kona was very crowded and there was vog. Waikoloa area had better beaches with more sun as well. As mentioned in other reviews, Kings and Queens shops were just a couple minutes away (walking) from the Marriott. The grocery store at Queens had great prices on to-go lunch options...

Used points for stay and was disappointed with room that they said was an upgrade. Yes it did have a pool view but the balcony was directly over a staircase that led to pool and restaurant area so it had a bit of traffic. Room was also a weird shape which made it cramped. Wallpaper was in need of replacement...

Some rooms have a view different than others. Pros: - fair WiFi signal - very nice pool with very nice small piece of private beach, which is quiet and not crowded - walking distance to King's stores and to Queen's stores - gym and pool open 24 hours Cons: - annoying WiFi login (every 24 hours per device) - not...

We upgraded to a partial ocean view room upon arrival, but we were quite disappointed. Though the room was located on the 6th floor and had a decent view, we could hardly sit in the patio and enjoy the breeze. The patio was very dirty including a bird's nest. We requested them to clean it the next day but they didn't....
