I stayed at this Marriott resort for 5 nights in July. As a Elite member, I already received free wifi but I chose to pay their $25 resort fees to get self-parking and 25% discount on daily breakfast buffet and the Wednesday/Saturday Luau shows plus...More
This hotel was a lovely, peaceful property with a friendlly staff and nearby shopping for all your needs. The hotel is very clean and the rooms spacious. We had a nice view of the beach area even though it was only a partial ocean view....More

I can’t tell you what you will get at this resort under any name they call their rooms. We booked a king bed room and got a room with two double bed garden room. They did give us a king but ended up looking over the buildings rooftop at the same price. There is simply not enough staff at this hotel to serve vacationer needs. Also ambiance in main restaurant us awful.Strongly suggest Fairmont Orchid. Absolutely worth the extra dollars

Most everything on the big island is more expensive but well worth it in my opinion. Because the island is so big, you can't be overly ambitious in what you try and do unless you have 7-10 days there.
