A fully encompassing resort. While we were here as a couple, without our grandkids, we saw many small kids having fun. We are anxious to return with family our next visit. Lots of variety of restaurants on the grounds. A little pricey but good quality.

This is a beautiful resort. The service was excellent. I just think some parts are in need of remodeling. Over time things can begin to look run down. I would also like to see food that you would eat on the island. We had to go off the resort to get that. The view from this resort are amazing. My...

We had an ocean view in the Palace Tower on the south side, seventh floor. This tower is in the middle of the property, so an easy walk to multiple pools and the convention center. Note this resort is huge, so easy walk is relative. Once you get your bearings, you can find shortcuts to other towers, pools, the ocean,...

This review is for a 3-night stay with my husband and two children (ages 12 and 9). We stayed in Room 3248 in the Palace Towers - a spacious 1-bedroom, 1.5 bathroom suite. Generally speaking, this is an acceptable hotel if you are looking for a family visit to the Big Island. Lots of kinks to work through. What we...

The hotel and grounds can't be beat. Excellent service. The only thing lacking is a standard 'American style' restaurant as none is on site. Was also informed the nicest of the 3 towers (ocean towers) will be closing in march to convert to time shares....... a BIG DISAPOINTMENT

This is a very large and very busy hotel. Overall front desk & restaurant Staff service is poor - average at best. Check in and check out lines are extremely long. All the in hotel restaurants are always busy with slow service. The location is excellent, great views and grounds are very nice. The pools are large and lots of...

We stayed a week at the Hilton Waikoloa Village It was a beautiful experience. The grounds are quite large, so do be prepared to walk alot. They do have shuttle train going through the resort to accomodate the guests, but we did not feel the need to take it. The grounds are just so beautiful and well groomed that we...

Wow is it in a word that describes this GGVC resort. I love the serenity of this place, there are 3 hot tubs and a endless pool. The slide is awesome. The bar and music was also great. The only draw back is that the music stops at 6:30 and the bar closes at 7pm. We loved the fire pit....

We just returned from this resort a day ago for a conference and this is my first evaluation on TripAdvisor. This resort is huge..like 3/4 mile from one side to the next. And, their tram/boat system is infrequent and slow. So if you like to go out and about a lot..you have to factor in a LOT of extra time....
