We loved the bamboo tree house. It is a gorgeous retreat from a busy day of exploring. The house has all of the necessary amenities to make your stay perfect. It is not air conditioned and honestly that bothered me, but I bit the bullet and rented it anyway. I am so very glad that we did. We have not...

Our family just had a wonderful stay at the Tropical Bamboo Hideaway. The house is lovely - very comfortable, roomy and beautifully decorated. It was just right for a fun, relaxing family vacation. The location is excellent - quiet and close to great beaches and a short drive to Hanalei. The owners provided lots of very helpful information about local...

We just loved the Bamboo Hideaway for our trip to Kauai. After staying there, it's going to be hard for another place to compare. The entire home was not only beautiful, but really well appointed with nice touches to make your day as enjoyable as possible. I loved that we were up off the ground and had a nice breeze...

Our family vacation, made up of all adults, had a wonderful time in this bamboo palace. We could enjoy family time, walk to a fabulous restaurant for dinner, or cook in and, best of all, hear the ocean while we fell asleep. We will be going back!

We experienced a wonderful relaxing week on the North Shore and enjoyed our stay at the Bamboo Hideaway. I would describe the home as more eclectic and charming as opposed to a luxurious villa as the website claims. The home is located back from the main road in a typical "locals" neighborhood leading to Tunnels and Ke'e beach, on what...

The peace we experienced there was spectacular. Everything you could want or need is provided. There is a less than ten minute walk to a great...

"We stayed at the Bamboo Hideaway at the end of February. We are very familiar with Haena and go there almost every year. We had a wonderful time as usual. We love the Haena location and the Bamboo house couldn't be better situated. The house, made entirely of bamboo, was imported from Vietnam and assembled in Haena. For other people...

Last December I had the good fortune to spend my vacation with my son in Ha'ena. We enjoyed staying in the Bamboo hideaway, a short 10 minutes from bustling Hanalei. It was fabulous. The building is modern and very well designed. It had all of the normal amenities, such as clean kitchen and baths. The entertainment system provided all the...

Our plan was to visit our daughter in Kauai over Thanksgiving, and host the Thanksgiving meal with her and her friends. We arrived after dark two days before Thanksgiving to find no light over the tiny lockbox – a minor irritation. That night the agent contacted us to alert us to the fact that the electronic controls on the range...

We stayed at the Tropical Bamboo Hideaway in July. We LOVED it!!! The home is lovely, just like the photos on the website and it's fascinating, one of the first Bamboo homes to be built on Kauai - while we there people kept stopping to take photos of it. The location was perfect- just across the road from a beautiful...
