This quaint, small hotel on the beach is wonderful. The owners and staff were professional and happy at every encounter. They really appreciate the business and do everything to make your stay exceptional. We borrowed beach chairs, bicycles, beach towels and movies for the rainy days. The location is an easy walk to shops, and is not only right on...

We spent two nights at Hotel Coral Reef. We had an upstairs unit facing the sea, great view. Bed was great, room was clean, staff very helpful, also helped with carrying a heavy bag upstairs. Continental breakfast included. As we were overseas travellers and did not have a car, staff helped with ordering a taxi when wanted to go into...

Very nice hotel, with nice people working there! Bike rental for free for the beautiful bike path right outside the hotel. Very clean, nice bathrooms, and comfy beds! Nice spread and coffee for breakfast, with good restaurants right around the corner for lunch and dinner!

We really enjoyed our stay here! Friendly staff and homey feeling. Not a huge resort where they don't know who you are. Very close to the ocean with a great balcony and shutters over large windowed doors. No sandy beach directly in front but the bike/running path was awesome and leads to a beach. Good place to stay in order...

Our room was on city side, meaning is : on the unique road. Non stop noise. Bed not confortable. Very expensive for such a low quality hotel. Worst during our stay. We were very happy to leave on morning.

Aloha, and thank you for your feedback. Our Economy Queen rooms are indeed located in a City-view location, adjacent to Kuhio Highway. These rooms are popular for budget travel and short stays, but we are sorry to hear that the roadside location was not comfortable for you. We stayed at the Hotel Coral Reef for one night upon our arrival at Kauai. We had another condo rented for the remainder of our stay. We found the hotel on expedia.ca . We were very happy with our stay. Would have stayed longer if we had not already booked another accommodation. Our plane was late arriving and the owners...

This little hotel has just change administration so, some of the other reviews are regarding previous owners, this little boutique hotel it's located in a perfect spot kind in the middle, of the island so nothing it's really to far away. It's also conveniently located in the town of Kapaa close to stores and restaurants in a walking distance. It's...

We are thrilled to know that you appreciated the intimate boutique feel of the Hotel Coral Reef! It's also great that you loved our charming little town of Kapa'a, a great spot for dining and shopping "local style," and centrally located to both the North and South shores. Stayed a week here in March and enjoyed every minute of it. Lovely grounds and location, right on the beach and the paved walking/bicycle trail. My room had a prime oceanfront view, and I really enjoyed sipping mai tais on the balcony and watching tourists and locals alike go by on the trail in front. I also enjoyed the lovely...

This is a great little hidden gem. It's the furthest north hotel in the Kapaa area and right in the town. Small property, perhaps 24 units total. We had ocean view, and there is a nice walking/bike path that runs a couple of miles in either direction between the hotel and the ocean. Onsite staff very friendly and helpful. They...

Motel style bordering a public walking/biking path along the ocean. Excellent grounds and pool area. Beachfront units have great views. Major renovations planned to upgrade building and add a third storey. Existing finishes are rough around the edges. Management available and very friendly. Great atmosphere. Coolers, bikes and light breakfast complementary. Definitely would return. Great, peaceful vibe.
