We chose this house since it had three master suites, and an extra bathroom near the kitchen. I was so excited the the house was like the pictures, Bonus, they upsized the table on the lanai that accommodated more people , we had 3 couples that stayed 8 nights. The Tiki hut was awesome to BBQ dinner on. My husband and...

I looked at several places to stay and there was something about the reviews that resonated with me about this little house. Not only was their view from the Lanai incredible, but there was a quaintness about it that was unparalleled. When we arrived at the Hale Puka Ana and were greeted by Patrick, Jules, Koa (the dog), and Pico...

This is a very sweet family who really try their very best to make your stay as wonderful as possible. The morning breakfast's are absolutely amazing. This is your time to speak with Patrick and Jules to get recommendations and they will 100% set you up for your day. They have great advice and have everything you will need for...

Jules and Patrick were gracious, personable and caring hosts. We couldn't have asked for anything better for accommodations on the island. The location was perfect for swimming, access to beaches and snorkeling as well as boating to the Napali Coast. Patrick and Jules were knowledgable and helpful about informing us when and what to do on the island. We would...

Although the hosts are certainly very friendly and helpful, we cannot recommend staying at Hale Puka Ana. At least the Ku’uipo Suite did not meet the standard that we expected after the excellent trip-advisor reviews and at a rate of 195 USD/night. One of the most important criteria for us is the cleanliness of the room. We would not have...

Please note that the rate for this room is $169/night plus tax. As for the tub/shower, while it took us a couple tries to get the right product to remove the minor hard water / red dirt stains from recent guests in the tub, it has been rectified weeks ago. For future guests we do not expect any concerns in...

My wife and I stayed for 4 nights September 20-23 and it was truly amazing. I loved the small community living and how Patrick and Jules knew so many fun things to do. I enjoyed talking with Patrick and Jules during out down time and wish I had more nights to stay there. Patrick was great in asking how we...

I'm overjoyed that my wife and I chose Hale Puka 'Ana as our place to stay on the beautiful island of Kauai. Located on the much more laid-back Western side of the island, you won't see fancy hotels or strip malls for miles. It gives you a spot to steer clear of the touristy spots and be a great "home...

Hard to understand why this place is so highly rated on Tripadvisor. Incredibly noisy highway(yes, this is a highway with major truck traffic all day and all night: we could not sleep with the door open without the constant assault of road noise). There is no view of the ocean from the downstairs rooms, just a hedge and a dirty...

Mahalo, Don, for your feedback and the opportunity to serve. As always, our preference would have been to address your desires while you were here, thereby providing you the vacation experience you anticipated. We have discussed the road in front and the subsequent noise in past reviews. In summary, for most it is a non-issue. For those that have concern,...

Just reread my review of this place and decided I sounded a bit snarky about the tiki bar. It's actually very sweet. It's been a few months since we were there and I have to say it stays on our minds. Highly recommend this place and Jule's and Patrick's hospitality.

Exactly what I hoped it would be! Jules and Patrick have a beautiful B&B. Wonderful delicious breakfasts created by Jules. Absolutely the nicest place to be is on the West side of Kauai. My daughter thought that she would have preferred to be around more "ACTION," but decided she loved the West side. I am sure if we ever return...
