Hands-down, the very best. Gorgeous views. Delicious breakfast. Friendly staff (Hi Jodie! Hi Alexis!) Lots of extras you don't realize you need (bug spray, coolers, boogie boards, snackies). Thank you for such a lovely time.
We wanted to experience a Bed and Breakfast place. Kaui was the place we chose and to our delight Marjories Kauai Inn far out weighed our expectations. First impressions are lasting. From the concerned emails and helpful hints given to us by the owners, we felt welcomed. Upon our arrival our host Jodie was nothing less than AWESOME. The rooms are clean and beautifully scenic. Relaxation, comfort and peace was our paradise. We really enjoyed being able to have a small kitchenette in our Bed room; More than that the conversation at Breakfast with the guests and hosts topped it! We didn't meet the owners, but thru our host Extraordinaire Jodie, there was nothing left undone.
I met my dream girl in LA for a first date which went so well we decided to have our second date in Kauai. After an extensive search I chose Marjorie's as the venue for our love affair. I won't go into to many details but let's just say that Marjorie's was the right choice. Jody was our host and was incredible. A fellow Canadian, Jody acted more like my sister would if I was coming home for Christmas than a host at a B&B! If a honeymoon is in the cards we will definitely be coming back. PS All the rooms are epic!
Beautiful setting in the Lawai valley, convenient to the south and west sides. Set on a quiet residential street , the setting is beautiful with spectacular views, beautiful flowers and many many birds. Rooms are small but very comfortable and thoughtfully laid out with very nice covered lanai strategically placed to capitalize on the wonderful views. Hosts are helpful, flexible and unobtrusive. We were there in February of 2021, so Covid restrictions prevented breakfast service but hope to return in the future to experience that!
My husband and I stayed with Alexis & Mike for a week over Christmas. Even without realising it was going to be the last holiday we would take for the foreseeable future, we were absolutely blown away. The inn itself is cozy, well-appointed and set into a hillside with a gorgeous view of an ancient healing valley. We awakened every morning to birds singing, lush rainfall (it was an exceptionally rainy December!) and rainbows. Every day except for Sunday (when you get a picnic basket delivered to your room), Alexis & Mike serve up the best homemade breakfast you will ever have, usually buffet style but occasionally plated. The breakfast alone really put Marjorie’s Inn at the top of our list; it was such a blessing to start each day with a beautiful meal and sometimes sandwiches or snacks for later in the day. You will not find a better breakfast at any restaurant or hotel on the island. The location on the south shore is conveniently located between north and west, so was ideal for us to explore the entire island without having to drive more than an hour or two in either direction. We spent everyday out adventuring (our hosts graciously helped us plan out our days and made excellent recommendations based on our needs). Should you choose to spend a restful day closer to home base, the inn is restful, gorgeously landscaped and has a lovely saltwater pool, hot tub and gazebo for your enjoyment. Our week with Alexis & Mike was one of the best vacations of our lives. We truly felt like part of the family. Kauai one of the most beautiful places on earth. We soaked up every moment of our time on the island. This is a rare spot not to be missed. We can not recommend Marjorie’s Inn highly enough and look forward to the day when we can visit again. …
