How rare to find a motel on Kaua'i where the aloha spirit is still alive and well. We felt cared for by Mokihana, the wonderful woman at the front desk, who worked hard to cobble together rooms for us when we fell sick camping. Yes, the rooms are small, but spotless. The neighborhood is quiet once the sun goes down....

This little establishment reminded us of the fifties because of the plumbing and linoleum floors. The room was tiny but clean. The service was the best. We met our neighbors and exchanged travel info. Parking is available in front but you back into traffic - really hard to see cars coming around the curve so park on back.

I booked a standard room for two nights here because my flight was leaving at 11:00 at night and I wanted to have a place to stay late the second day. I didn't expect much for$85/night because it was about half what I would pay at most other places on Kauai. But my room was very clean, the bed was...

Aloha, We appreciate your comment and happy you enjoyed your stay and the reasonable cost for the accommodation! We strive to give our guests value coupled with great aloha service. We are fortunate to have many local restaurants around us which is convenient after those long flights. Mahalo

We spend 3 days in this hotel. The room was clean with clean sheets. We just needed a place to crash during night, as we had day tours. So this place was best for our purpose. Safe neighborhood, bus-stops & good restaurants are at walking distance.

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights with a friend in a twin room. This hotel is in a great location. we loved being able to walk to restaurants and it was convenient to drive to beaches and Waimea canyon. We stayed in an air conditioned room on the first floor so you could hear roosters but it didnt...

The rooms are cozy and the beds are very comfortable. Easy to access and a nice mountain view. Parking is limited and there are no microwaves in the rooms. The roosters are abundant so you won't need an alarm clock.

Aloha, I am happy you had a good night's rest on those cozy beds. We are a small hotel and we appreciate your kind words. Those roosters can be a problem for those trying to sleep in. The chickens have no time schedule! Thank you for leaving a response and thank you for staying with us. Mahalo.

These are the words I would use to describe this hotel in Lihue. The parking lot was small with just enough room. It appeared that every room was booked. This place is very close to the airport and we stayed there because of our late flight. We were pleased because it was all we needed to recover from our long...

Aloha, Thank you for staying with us. Glad we could help with your late arrival. Being so close to the airport is very helpful to our guest arriving on such late flights. Get some sleep and then start fresh in the morning. I hope you had fun on Kauai, we would love to see you again. Mahalo.

The staff was great about accommodating my late night arrival and made sure I could get into my room. I also loved the little mini-kitchen set up and could make nice breakfasts/lunches to take with me for the day. This is also a great place to stay if you want to spend a little time seeing more of the local...

We were very impressed by the hospitality and welcome here! Mokihana, the site manager, organized our late arrival very well and communicated with us effectively before we even left from Seattle. Very recommended and we would book again!

Clean, comfortable room, ceiling fan, cable TV, small fridge. Walls are then, so loud fellow guests can be a bother, maybe less so in warmer weather with windows closed and AC on. Friendly, helpful staff. Very close to airport. Lihue is a good location for exploring Kauai.
