We visited Kauai in January as our belated Honeymoon. We were on the island for two weeks, and wanted to combine some camping & 'rustic' adventures with some time by the pool & staying at a nice place. The Kauai Inn served us perfectly. During the two weeks, we stayed at the Kauai Inn for total of 7 nights, but... More

We really enjoyed our 4 night stay here. The room was very clean and relatively spacious, had a nice tub and shower, and the bed was really comfortable. The A/C was a little noisy, but that doesn't bother me at all. The free breakfast was delicious - pastries, fresh fruit, juice, coffee, and tea. It does start a bit late... More

About the only things the Kauai Inn has going for it are the helpful and couteous staff and the lush green lawns. It is located a long way from anything. If you don't have a car it requires a 20 minute walk along poorly lit industrial streets with no footpaths to get to the restaurants and shopping centre. Our room... More

Few visit Kauai without renting a car, unless staying at a destination resort such as a Marriott or Our staff and management of the Kauai Inn care about your experiences and want to say Mahalo for taking the time to write a review. We stayed at the Kauai Inn for a couple of days after a stay at the Westin in Princeville. We booked through Expedia and got an extremely affordable rate. The room was old but extremely clean. It had a refrigerator and microwave and free wireless internet. The grounds were nice and tropical. We did not use the pool area but... More

My husband and I enjoyed our stay here. Our room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast each morning was enough to start your day. Breakfast consists of fresh fruit, English muffins, toast, bagels & sweet breads (such as blueberry & cinnamon). There is also juice, hot tea and coffee. The location on the island is great because you are centrally... More

We had an amazing experience at this motel. It was really clean, not just the room but the grounds also. It was picture perfect! It was the perfect place for us to spend our honeymoon! They even had a bottle of wine on ice in our room for us to celebrate our honeymoon! The locations was great...close to everything yet... More

The Kauai Inn is situated approx 5-10 mins drive from Lihue airport. You have to drive by the docks to get to it (which made me think I'd taken a wrong turn!!) but the location and surroundings are actually very nice. We chose this hotel for location more than anything else as we knew we would be out and about... More

Whilst it was certainly a strange location when we first arrived heading through what appeared the dockyard...In reality it was a great place to explore the island from. We found the staff and whole experience excellent...if you want 5 star luxury this is not for you...if you want a friendly, well kept good value for money lodging where nothing is... More

We needed an easy and affordable place to stay for one night. The bulk of our trip was spent on the north part of the island and our flight was leaving so early that we decided to head towards the airport the eve of our return flight home. Kauai Inn was recommended to us so we stopped in, made a... More

Dear Seattle Ladies, We sincerely apologize for the error in your reservation made in person at our Kauai Inn. After researching and questioning our front desk staff, the only explanation we have been able to figure was that evening, our front desk person began to input your name, phone is next, into our system then guests came to check in.... My new bride and I stayed at Kauai Inn for a total of 6 or so nights during our 2 week stay on Kauai. The Inn was very relaxing for us and offered a reprieve from our adventures around the island (surfing, camping ect...). The staff was very gracious and helped us in recommending snorkel spots and a fishing charter.... More
