The beach at the property is very rocky at the edge of the water. The hotel has a lovely terrace with loungers and umbrellas and the pool is 50 yards behind that. From the grassy area, you are about 30' from the edge of the water. The Marriott is 100 yards away but all amenities are for guests only and you have to have a wristband. You won't be disappointed at Koa K'ea.
