We stayed in room 406 and overall it was ok. The bathroom needs some upgrades and the rooms window screens has to be fixed or replaced because they don't seal 100%. Good room service, nice landscape, good location. Easy and fast check-in/check-out, good front desk service. Be aware that you have to pay cleaning fee when you check out in...

Our family has stayed at the Kiahuna 4 times now and can't imagine a Spring Break without going there. The pool is amazing (the smartest thing Castle did was hold onto that) and the easy access to Poipu Beach is unparalleled. The condo was comfortable and relaxing. It would be nice if the kitchen tools were replaced when needed so...

In February we stayed at Kiahuna Plantations for the 3rd time, the past two trips we rented 2 condos each visit, so we have a good idea of what to expect (I wrote a review our first trip in 2011, however I posted in under the Outriggers reviews by accident, as I didn't understand the difference at the time, see...

We are staying here right now and in day 5 of a 10 day stay. The condo is nicely decorated. We were planning on cooking a bit here and luckily we did not stop at Costco on the way in. There is no storage for food items. Lots of our purchases are out on the counter. We had a couple...

Thank you for your visit, and your review. I am sorry that you do not like your location. I assume that since you booked direct with the owner you knew where you were located. I was also disappointed that you did not find our pool to be acceptable. We have contracted with the Poipu Beach Athletic Club to operate it,...

My family recently stayed at Kiahuna Plantation and had a great vacation (it is a very nice location and most of the facility has beautiful grounds). My real complaint is that when we booked our stay our booking agent with Castle assured us we would be in buildings 1-5 and on the great lawn in the center of the complex...

Wow - I certainly did not make a favorable impression on you! I apologize, and must confess I don't have any idea of who you are. I work with hundreds of folks who get my name from TA, and normally am able to assist them. I private messaged you to try to apologize and find out what happened, but as...

We spent a week for spring break (April 2014) at the Kiahuna Plantation. Overall, our experience was wonderful. We have two children and had a garden view condo. It was beautiful! Kauai is a wonderful island for families. There is almost too much to do for one visit. The condo was perfect for our needs,. It was clean, tastefully decorated...

Some units (the Beach Front Category) are very close to the beach, with great ocean views. Unfortunately, they deemed our Senior Rate in a partial ocean view to be a "promotional" location. This meant being assigned 3rd floor of Bldg 39, as far from the beach as is possible in this development. Partial ocean view means you can see the...

Thank you for your recent visit. You are correct that our Partial Ocean View category does not feature locations close to the ocean. We do try to price it accordingly, and we do ensure that there IS a view of the ocean, as you correctly acknowledged. For those reading this, if you wish to be close to the beach, our...

I recently spent eight days at Kiahuna. I stayed in 3 different rooms trying to get a feel for different locations within the plantation so I could decide what area of the plantation to purchase a condo in. I was impressed with the plantation but I was even more impressed with the service from Castle Resorts Management. They even moved...

I have been here one night and I would give this place fewer stars except that the beach is nice and the grounds are well kept although sparse, and our view is pretty good because we are on the 3rd floor. We are in bldg 18, which is about as far from the beach as you can get, I think....

I got a good rate online for a March visit (149!) and then I found out when our family tried to go to the pool and gym that "Outrigger guests are not allowed to use the facility, only Castle Resorts guests". Embarrassing. The front desk told me I could rent a cabana at the Sheraton, right! For $150 I can....
