My mother and I stayed at the B&B for 6 days in January of 2011 during our first trip to Hawaii. It was a wonderful place and we plan to return. The staff were amazing, especially Javed. At breakfast every morning we ate delicious and beautiful meals that Javed prepared and received wonderful advice on planning our day (e.g., how...

We stayed at the Macadamia unit, which had a very nice view of the mountains and the ocean. Although the condos are not right on the ocean, they are within walking distance of a nice beach park. Poipu also has a number of good restaurants within a short distance. The room was very spacious and had comfortable living spaces. We...

I last stayed here 23 years ago with my son. This stay was with my husband. As per other reviews, the bathrooms and appliances are dated, but the price, location and hospitality are perfect. This time we stayed in the Macadamia unit. We had a lovely view from our porch each evening enjoying the sunset over the Pacific while drinking...

If you want to sample “Beautiful Kauai” (in the days when it used to be a tropical paradise -without high-rising “palaces”) … visit this “hidden gem” in the sunny South Shore of Kauai. My husband and I stayed in the BEAUTIFUL Ali’i suite for a week in August 2010 : it felt like having a “villa” all to ourselves !!...

My wife and I stayed here in early December, 2010; We opted for the 'vacation rentals' with sceneic view and we were very pleased with what we got. The one-bedroom suite made us feel at home with wood-flooring, sliding bedroom door and the well-equipped kitchen, all just like you see in the pictures on their website - no bait and...

We were totally pleased with our accommodations and the service we received. Chris and Javed were very friendly and informative regarding what to do and see and when you rent a car thru them or book excursions such as a luau, or kayaking, Na Pali coast tour etc. you usually get a discount. The property is just a short walk...

Our stay at the Poipu Plantation Resort couldn't have been better. Beautiful ocean and mountain view from our balcony. Comfortable, spacious accomodations with full kitchen. Beautiful grounds and very helpful staff. The resort is a very short walk to the ocean, Brennecke's Beach and Poipu Beach Park. We couldn't have asked for a better condo experience for our week on...

I love this place. We began our honeymoon at Poipu and it exceeded my expectations. It was in a nice neighborhood and was ideal for morning walks. Our room, the Ali Suite was sprawling, bright, and modern. The breakfasts were healthy and each morning began with a delicious papaya. Our hosts were friendly without being "in your face." They gave...

This B&B is a mere block from the surf. It is an easy walk to Brennecke’s Beach and Poipu beach. The B&B is in a 1950 or 1960’s house. The rooms are nice and the bed is comfortable. Breakfasts are the highlight. Each morning we had a different serving of gourmet-quality dishes. If there was a downside it would be...

We always appreciate comments which help us see other point of views. We are proud of our great service and the time we spend with guests to make them feel at home, help with activity planning, where to go, what to do. Low marks in service is something we are not accustomed to reading. But there must be guidelines for...

We stayed here for four nights and it was wonderful. We stayed in the cheapest room and still thought it was spacious, clean and comfortable. The location can't be beat. Poipu Beach was definitely the most fun beach we went to in Hawaii. The waves were large enough to be fun but still small enough to feel safe. There is...
