Cozy place and unit (Cedar Cabin), great and helpful staff (Patric and Carol)and amazing surronding and cabin. The Koke'e State Park trails are very close. We suggest it and If we go back, we would stay in again:) Balázs, Hungary

The Red Cabin is a rustic, unique experience at the top of the Waimea canyon. We stayed for 5 nights and it was the best relaxing experience. The cabin is located close to many hiking trails. You go for a hike in the morning and come back in the afternoon and warm up with a nice fire. If you want...

We stayed in cabin n. 4 for three nights. The location is fantastic and that makes it all worth it. However, we had some issues which the management could easily rectify, and in fairness they gave us 50$ back as of compensation. The lodge was probably furnished 30-40 years ago, and it shows. This is just like any other US...

Aloha Granduelle, Some follow up points from our end. The gas oven does work and this guest had it unplugged- therefore the igniter for the oven itself was disabled. Interestingly, I personally checked these guests out and ask them if the unit was plugged in. They responded, "Of course don't be silly". Upon further research the unit was not plugged...

After grabbing the keys down in Waimea, we headed up to our cabin, which was a duplex cabin shared with neighbours. Walls are thins and you could hear and smell what people are cooking on the other side. Since it gets dark pretty early, they were in bed and so were we. The cabin was quite large and had everything...

Three nights in a 2 bedroom cabin. The cabin was rustic, but what you might expect if you are "camping" in the woods. We stayed at the Ilikai cabin, which has newly painted interior. The temperatures are cooler than at sea level, so come prepared. It's not cold, but sweater, jacket, raincoat are in order. Perfect sleeping temperature under a...

If you are looking to get away from the tourist nonsense and enjoy the wild side of Kaua’i this is the place. The cabins are rustic – no luxury here and no tacky “Hawaiian” clichés either. The price is about the lowest per night you can find on the island. We spent 3 nights from 10/13/16 – 10/16/16. The cabin...

The cabin is a perfect rustic retreat for 2-4 people. We spent three nights here, hiking and driving around Kokee State Park. The cabin is basic (wood stove, simple furnishings) but clean and well maintained. We loved having a kitchen to cook our meals, and the surroundings are truly spectacular.

This is a very very basic accommodation. The climate control system is a wood burning stove. The kitchen had a full size fridge, uWave, coffee pot, range. And all equipment to cook with. Again - BASIC. We weren't here for the accommodation, we were here to hike and enjoy the spectacular scenery of Kokee & Waimea. It is one of...

We wanted to stay two nights at Koke'e NP but unfortunately there was no availability for two nights in a row in the same cabin. Patrick was incredibly helpful and tried hard to make it work (stay in two different cabins). The high cleaning fee made that we only stayed one night in the Duplex, the most budget version of...

We were in one of the cabins, not the lodge itself. In this wet environment the cabin showed its age. It was kept clean but it did not look neat. Specially the bathroom, which was in dire need of repair. There was a complete set of kitchen utensils, which also looked clean but battered. The wood stove did a good...
