The Haiku Plantation Inn is a remarkably restored heritage property in peaceful Haiku stewarded by Sandy whose heart has created a fantastic bed and breakfast experience. For those wishing to experience the old ways of Hawaii, this treasure tucked up from Paia is a must. Close to all but quiet at the end of the day, spacious and welcoming gardens,...

Sandy and Heather were great! The breakfast offered lots of choices of delicous baked goods, plenty of coffee and fruit. It was a great location to check out the entire island without being in the midst of lots of tourists. The inn is old, so take that into consideration if you plan on staying, it offers lots of charm. Our...

On our visit to Maui we scheduled 3 days at the Haiku Plantation Inn, followed by 6 days at one of the very nice resorts on Kaanapali Beach. The Plantation Inn is lovely, our bed was very comfortable and we slept great each night, giving us opportunity to rise early and beat the crowds to Hana and the Haleakala National...

This was a delightful place to R & R from the day's travels around the island. Sandy was a kind and helpful host who was ever ready to give island tips and history. We had a wide variety of yummy items to choose from at breakfast with all the coffee we wanted. She specially made me a hard boiled egg...

We spent 5 nights at Sandy's lovely bed and breakfast and it couldn't have been any better! It was exactely what we were looking for: an old charming house with a host who makes you feel at home from the first moment. Every room looks different and the whole house is very charming. The house is surrounded by a wonderful...

Firstly....Sandy is a wonderful, thoughtful and sweet woman who made us feel quite at home. Her B&B is quaint, warm, welcoming, tidy, clean and eclectic with charm and personality. The location is in my opinion, perfect! I love the natural more local feel of Haiku and prefer this less touristy part of the island. I love the lushness of this...

We do love to share our home and spend a lot of time helping guests to make their stay on the island very memorable. It is about the whole experience on Maui and we are glad to have been a part of their vacation time here. We appreciate the wonderful comments.

We wanted a B&B (not easy to find on Maui) away from the touristy areas where we could relax and unwind from our own B&B responsibilities. And we wanted to feel like we were "at home" with places to hang out inside and out. Haiku is ideal for that. Comfortable, spacious, and shoes-at-the-door. The mango tree is huge and awesome!...

This is my fourth visit to the Plantation. It was the most wonderful vacation I have experienced on the islands. The owner Sandy is a delight! She makes you feel at home and yet gives you all the space to feel like you are in your own home. This is a great place to stay. The house is clean, comfortable,...

This B&B is in a heritage house from the turn of the last century. It is a plantation-style bungalow that was used by a doctor serving the area at the peak time of pineapple and sugar cane agriculture. The house has been decorated in keeping with the general heritage style, but tastefully and not overdone like some. The grounds have...

I just got back from Maui with my family and loved the winter weather compared to California winter. Surf was excellent and the rain forests were awesome. I love the fact that the plantation is in the rural side of Maui and that it is different from the touristy side of the island. You get to feel like a real...
